My problem is that I struggle to monetize it. Hardly made 10$ last month from it.

Anyways, with that PR and that traffic, how much do you think it would worth on flippa?

A few hundred dollars. There's no way to put an exact value on it, so your best bet would be list it on Flippa and see how it does.

I have a site with 7K unique searches per month and holding positions in page 1 and page 2 for some high competitive keywords and site is 1 year old PR1 site.

Also site has 7k subcribers via google feed for its blog.

Can you give estimate for that.

Have a PR2 site - domain is about 2 years old though I've only really started working on it the past few months. Currently receiving an average of about 500 UV a day. Most of the traffic is for search engines. Making around $2500 per month. A little from Adsense and CPA network but mostly from being affiliate for one particular site. Would appreciate an estimate when you get a chance.

Pretty tricky to value as you've only just started working on it. You'd probably be looking around $20k, but that could be higher or lower depending on a few factors.

Hey,

Your best bet is to get the site up and running again with some revenue.

At this stage, you're basically looking at a domain only sale so it will be worth relatively little.

If you can show some traffic and earnings, you'll open up to a much wider market and as such, command a far higher price.

Sites this small are tough to value, but forums are always popular. I wouldn't sell for $500, you should be able to get a few thousand from someone (I might even be interested, drop me a message!)

It's a UK targeted website, .co.uk domain, is 1-2 years old, PR3, and receives around 500-1000 UV per day.

What would a site like that be worth? I know it would need about 6 months of history to work out a better figure, but if you could base it on 6 months @ £900 per month average, I would appreciate it.

My wife hates that all my spare time goes into this and with my kids getting a little older, I'm strongly considering getting rid of the whole lot - selling everything including tools, accounts, domains, content, software...the works. Trouble is, I have no idea how Id go about doing this. Aside from Mage, private marketer and SENuke, most of the tools could be found here or any number of the other sites around trading in other's ripped, stolen or nulled software. My copies are legit, but whatever.

I'd be happy to work with someone who specializes in this and split the revenue from the sale of any of the domains. If interested, PM me.

To early to value, really. High $XXXX if you can keep those earnings consistent for a few more months. Adsense sites at a low level tend to sell for high multiples.

Don't know if SEMRush stats mean anything in the site flipping biz,
but it has a traffic price of $3,900, with 154 keywords in Google.

You'll probably get $3-4k on Flippa. Sites like this are popular.

I've got a site that is currently ranking #1 for a search that gets around 10k searches a month.

Now, previously when it was first ranked, it was making around $15 a day just from adsense, so around $600 month. That was when I knew shit though, I'm expecting soon to hit $20/day just from adsense alone, and its a product keyword so it can also be monetized by amazon (which I've had success with)

This domain is around 2 weeks old, but the previous domain (that was making $15+/day) is now being 301 redirected to this new domain that's ranking 1. // why I did this was because the new domain was the EMD of the kw. (pm me if u want the real example)

I will obviously be selling both domains, or just the new one and I'll continue to 301 redirect my backlinks etc to the new domain.

Daily visitors is anywhere between 500-1000 UV's.

About 10,000 total members since 2005 with ~1900 active in the past 6 months. I had 5.5m pageviews in 2011 and I'd guess around 3-4k UV a month. Gross revenue in 2011 was $4,400 and I expect revenue to continue to grow into 2012. Expenses are fixed at $63/mo and include hosting and a server manager that handles any & all technical issues.

Revenue is a mix of Adsense, VigLink, and subscriptions for forum perks. VigLink is new and has been growing well (from $9 in the first month to $138 last month). Net profit past 6 months:

-Dec 2011: $490
-Nov 2011: $419
-Oct 2011: $347
-Sept 2011: $440

I've just recently (like, yesterday) installed Google Analytics to get a better idea of my traffic since I didn't have any hard stats before. It shows traffic as: ~60% direct, ~25% search, ~15% referral.

A group of stand-up moderators and a responsive server manager makes it pretty low-maintenance. I'm thinking of putting it up on Flippa with a $10k reserve, and was wondering if that's a reasonable approach.

I'd also be interested in hearing your sales pitch in terms of using a broker. If I can get a price where it'd make sense to walk away from the passive income, I'm ready to sell.

I'm only giving an estimate - realistically, under $10k, there's no "set" multiple, they vary depending how well an auction does. Generally speaking, Adsense sites are more popular than Amazon sites, though.

Depends how often you post articles. If you have to do it regularly, then $1k. If never, then $2k or around that.

Forums sell well, I can't give a value without seeing it, though. I have a lot of active forum buyers.

Advantages of using a broker: contacts, save time, get more money, far higher success rate, expert advice etc. etc.

Flippa can work, but with forums it's best to go direct to the bigger buyers.

Thanks for the thread, never flipped a site before but have two sites i want to sell to finance other projects but am a bit confused as to who would buy them and if they are worth anything.
They are micro niche sites,(.co.uk) both 2 years old, both PR2.
Earnings come from different sources, Amazon, Epn, Adsense and a few other affiliate networks and average only £30-50 p month revenue, but could be a lot more if i spent time on them.
Traffic last 4 months averaging 500 uniques a month for each site. 32% returning visitors.
