How to sell a website?

I want to know how to sell a website?
Which are needed, and the domain name should passed some month to sell or not?

If you're thinking of selling a site then your first step should be browsing around this section (start with the stickies - then move on to some popular threads - go further than page one) and start asking questions only then.

No-one will be able to teach you the dynamics of selling sites (or even worse - building sites in order to sell them) in a few sentences as it's a business that requires a lot of knowledge.

Do some digging around here (there's LOTS of quality material and tutorials here in this section) and come back once you have specific questions / sticking points.

If a site get decent traffic and make money monthly, you can sell it.

You may have to provide traffic details (Google Analytic, etc) and earning proof. You need to get yourself familiar with escrow payment as well. Head over to flippa and look for those listings with highest bid. Take a look at their listing and see if you could learn something from there.

Selling a site is not that easy. I buy and sell sites for 3 months of revenues but most of the time, that's too expensive and they don't sell. It's something to learn, not just to throw online and wait...

First you need a site that makes money, and judging by the question at hand, I am 90% sure you don't have that yet. :P

Well... The little I know from here and WSOs, you need Proof of Revenue (so start tracking as soon as possible)! A good way to get some revenue quick is to buy a cheap Google Adwords PPC account with the $140 coupon, target your keywords, and let er' rip! You're not looking for prolonged profit, you just want a quick sale. (For hype you know?) So that when you sell, you can put a headline like: KILLER Microniche site sold $X in Y days! Ah! Don't forget! Always use Torr or VPN when running capaigns off your "MANY" PPC accounts. Google only allows one per person!
