My first thoughts after 3 minutes of due diligence:

- They claim 12,000 real members. The site hasn't even had that many UVs since being launched

- "Hits" is a worthless metric

- The auction copy looks like it was written by a 3 year old child

- It doesn't make any money

All for £4998?

I would say it's worth £100, tops.

If you're genuinely looking to buy a website, your best bet is Flippa.com. Ebay sucks for buying sites (or selling for that matter).
