I've just got a very good offer for one of my sites.
I have never sold a website before but a company is offering good money for my site.

What escrow service should I use? Can I still get scammed if using escrow? Is there any kind of paypal escrow service?

Don't use Paypal.

Use Escrow.com. It's simple to use and relatively safe. If it's "good" money as in $10k+ then you should also get a contract in place to protect you.

Ok then I will use escrow. Anybody has a sample contract (discussed above)? Do I have to sign that with a lawyer?

i'ved used escrow before, worked great.

Escrow.com, Sedo, or GoDaddy have excellent escrow services. Just be careful, do your due diligence and don't get blinded by dollar signs. Crossing your T's and dotting your I's will prove very effective and helps to protect you.

When it comes to using Escrow.com, they might still have a glitch in their system that can be exploited. The purchaser can actually fund the purchase, receive the domain from you via proper transfer, change the WHOIS and then claim they DID NOT take receipt of the domain name. They get their money back and you are SOL on a domain. If they have fixed this glitch, then disregard.

If not, you would be best advised to use Moniker. They have a flawless system to handle such transactions and your assets will be protected.

wait, you mean use an escrow service and ALSO incorporate sedo.com into the transaction, or just use sedo as your agent WITHOUT using an escrow service?
