As I look on Flippa it appears to me that less and less listings are even remotely close to legit, and even more websites want way more than their worth.

So I was wondering, do any of you regular flippers know of better sites to buy/sell websites on? Or is all of your good business done through referrals and past clients?

thanks for yer replies, I'll definitely hit up meathead. I was looking for sites not necessarily to flip, but are being sold with potential that I could improve and hold on to.

Flippa is not really a good place to buy any more. I buy from members here and other forums.

Digital points is good for some bargain basement prices...

Best bet is a broker if you're happy to pay the market rate and have a budget to play with ($10k+).

If you're willing to spend a bit longer doing due diligence and sifting through crappy auctions all day, then try smaller webmaster forums where there is not an established sites for sale section. Whilst Flippa is the market leader, there are still plenty of people who don't know about it and would rather just try sell it on a smaller forum.

You can also try the ended unsold section on Flippa - sometimes you can get yourself a good deal.

Thanks a lot meathead, It's nice to know the kind of budget one should have when going to deal with a broker, too.
