Do you have to pay $19 even if your site doesn't sell ?

I've a good idea to flip some sites but I don't want to gamble $19 to see if it will sell

    Any other options ?

You don't get a refund, if it's a good site it will sell, but however if it does not sell, you may relist the same site for half the price.

Just do it. Even listing at the Warrior Shmuck forum costs the same.

Even if you don't get a winner, people can still contact you and then if you sell to them there is no success fee.

Why are you scared it won't sell? Maybe you are asking too much.

If it makes money and is legal and the income won't drop off a cliff then someone will pay you 12x earnings for it, maybe more. Set your reserve at 12x and it will definitely sell.

Seriously your afraid to invest $19...
Last site I sold I paid flippa $200 for feed upfront and G_d knows how much on the backend.

You have to pay to play this game.

Ok,when I first started this thread it was about me thinking about selling a brand new website.

Now I'm thinking about selling a website making around $150 a month through adsense. Should I expect 12 times this amount ?

And how do I not get scammed selling this / best payment method etc ?

    Thank you.

    You could use escrow.

Well 12 times monthly income depends on the site history (earnings etc), conversion rate, etc.

    Thanks.

Well my CTR is over 10% which I think is great and it's in the life insurance niche so high paying clicks. Just checked the $(I use the euro) and the site would actually make around $180 a month but it made more in the past.

Word of Caution about Flippa , first I like Flippa and started using it; but one bad practice on their part that I experienced is this:

I listed a item for 7 days and selected the first page option which was an extra fifty. I received the front page position for only a few hours and then it was gone, I sent in a ticket regarding this and here was their reply:

"your sale was listed on the front page but was pushed off by others who paid, if you like to pay again you will be on the first page again" ticket closed - talk about making me feel like a sucker, this did it.

One would assume think that if you select the service you would be there for more than a few hours. Talk about luck of the draw, I guess I should be happy that it was not for a few minutes. That extra fifty option is a pure %#!#-shoot.

Thanks for informing others here! I wouldn't have thought that paying for the first page (that too a decent amount) could get bumped off so easily.
