I have this site that i had made a while back half for an attempt at profit, half because it was a hobby of mine.

its a music niche website that is actually quite unique( the only one i've seen like it atleast) and it heavily involved facebook.

the only problem was that I realised it was going to take to much time to get a steady stream of traffic and i gave up on it.

Saw this section of the forum and figured i would ask any of you if you have some ideas about how i can flip it with not a lot of solid statistics to back it.

I guess you could say i would be trying to sell the concept of the site based on its potential.

Any advice? ...maybe a pm or two would suffice if any would be willing to give it a look....or just listen to the music

A concept is worthless, sorry. Websites are sold on the value of their assets (customer base, infrastructure, design), their revenue, their traffic and type of traffic. The only way a concept would be worth money is if you had intellectual property rights over the idea which I am assuming you don't.

I had an idea or a vision over 15 years ago about the sony psp .. the technology wasnt even available then and i have the foreknowdge about handheld device with screen for games, movies and ssd cards etc its actually down on paper on my wall i was close to 16 years of age ..
U know what this was worth the idea.. ? BILLIONS

IDEA that wasnt implemented or followed through ?? Zero ..

So unfortunately as above its kinda worth zilch bro.. just outsouce some work to it and u,ll have a nice earner if u put in the work.

It's not that it's bitchy. It just that many websites have alot of risk involved.
I get people who come to me everyday with sites that are generating say adsense revenue of $40 dollars per day but they have been around for 1 month and infringe on a trademark.

All it would take is one email from the brand to the host and the site would shutdown.

There are many other examples. It is much easier to sell sites when they have a good track record.
