Guide to creating a website?

So I recently got interested in creating a website and have been jumping to and from good forum sites, but I can't really get help from anyone...This is my first post and I've spent a few hours on BHW just reading up, but is there a tutorial thread for starting up a website to later be flipped or used for affiliate marketing?

Any good ebooks?

Just use Wordpress, it's the easiest platform to use in my opinion. Just buy a .info domain, install WP, and play around with it for a while so you can learn.

Once you get the hang of it, study other sites in your market and see what they are doing and get ideas from them.
