I made a big mistake!

I'll lay the complete story here:

I was contacted by a BHW member nio93 for my BST thread. Now I wasn't offering any free review copies.

Here's a partial skype log. (For full log, PM me)







See the last line: "Please help me out". He needs my help for a $15 backlink service. Wow!.. (Things will get interesting later on)!

So, I do it. Give him his free review copy. All he does is copy paste a review from another forum, and pastes it on my thread. I ask him to take that down. And he is allegedly a journalist.

A few hours he is banned for having multiple accounts (self confession below)

From a week later:


Ok so a week later, I receive his skype message:

Hello Karan

Now TIS seemed pretty good, but suspicious as well. He told me that I could make $5000 extra for doing nothing but making a thread in BHW inviting affiliates. So I agree and ask him to get the thread content ready.

I post the thread (and got it checked from a mod as well just to be safe).

A few hours later, here's the chat log.



So he paid 45k for the site, but couldn't pay 15 bucks for my service. Hmm...

Anyways, my suspicion rises and I decide to get that thread reported. A few hours later the thread is deleted!

I missed one thing here, Nio's "partner" kenb27 (skype ID) contacted BHW members to bump the thread.

So coming back to after deleted thread..

While browsing BHW today, I see the exact same thread posted.

And here's what he told the OP about me:

Anyways, I contact the OP of the new thread informing about this scammer/spammer! He decides to take down his thread. (Is he wishes to be recognized, he'll post in the thread, I'll send him the link to this thread).

And I skype Nio asking about all this shit.

I know that was a mistake. And yes, I regret that, and therefore I came here to confess that. If I wanted, I could have deleted that part of the convo, but I did not. As I said, a lesson was to be learned, and I did learn one.

Yes he did.. But a bit different from all of this. Just a short bit after TheMatrix replied to me in a thread in VIP about commenting, I got a message on Skype from this neo.

He sent me to the thread that TheMatrix posted and asked me if I would bump it, informing me that it was his thread. Me, putting 2 and 2 together came to the obvious conclusion that he WAS TheMatrix..

Even played off with some small talk like he was TheMatrix (that was the first things I asked him... who the fuck are you? Oh, TheMatrix, thought it was some dipshit.. He kept going like he was TheMatrix and never bothered to mention otherwise.)

He asked me to bump his thread, which I found a bit weird... Never really been asked to do that on a forum before. But I figured, hey, he's shared some cool shit especially that last one and I'll do him a solid.

Then he asks me a couple days later (last night) if I would *start* a thread. That was very weird. I was extremely hesitant, especially when he kept making mention of my reputation on BHW. I wasn't exactly sure why he couldn't start the thread himself, possibly because he was the affiliate and it's against the rules? Iunno.

Finally, he decided to give me a few bucks for it... Which, funnily enough he could not come up with and ended up offering me some shitty link building service of his. (Mind you, the thread was already posted and he had not paid me.. So to me, it was either this or a very highly likelihood that I wouldn't get $$. I was actually suspicious that he was playing stupid until the "edit" button disappeared, then stiff me. So I took what I could get at that point.)

Either way, definitely watch out for this fucker. His name is "Nio" on Skype and he's shady as ever. Like I said, up until I read this thread right here... I thought he WAS TheMatrix.

Yes this was clearly called out in a thread here 48 hours ago, that mods have since deleted because it contained information about Kalyken that was freely available (including many of his aliases, emails, and domains), first-party claims from people harmed by him, and might have warned others and helped them avoid also getting scammed. Yes, that's why the thread was taken down. Thank goodness. Phew!

Actually if you google "Ken Belonio" you should find a blog with some of that info, though I'm sure the mods are working on getting that taken down as well.

I laughed my ass off at the cheap scheme(you don't game a consol). Well 7 days passed, my man disappears from skype, never to be seen again. I just blocked him after a couple of days.
