Re: 10 Unauthorized Charges Today
Might be a good idea and recall what other places you've used your card.
I remember someone swiping cards at a local restaurant. Of course they got caught.

Re: 10 Unauthorized Charges Today
Why don't you use a one-time VCC? At least if anybody else tried to use it, it would reject the charge.

Re: 10 Unauthorized Charges Today
That's why I paid the $5 for a paypal security device. It generates a 6 digit code for which, in addition to paypal's standard login details you must enter the 6 digit code on your device. Also bank of America offers the same thing for their cards for $20. RIP OFFS. But better than having you account hacked. BOA also offers a nice video explaining more about the card so if you use them i suggest spending 5 minutes of your time. [I AM NOT AFFILIATED WITH EITHER COMPANIES]
Look here to see what's it like (not mine) found w/ google images. Using search query (paypal security device) no ().

I also use the Key Scrambler plugin for firefox, AV software, FireWall, WOT plugin & Compete plugin (both offer site trust ratings). And most importantly COMMON SENSE. I also use anti-spware and noscript plugin. All plugins are for firefox.
Have questions use Google and read up about these plugins.

Re: 10 Unauthorized Charges Today
Justthinking is dead on about this one. P@yp@l VCCs are the safest route by far. Just about anyone will sell your CC number these days. My amex got hit once for three .02 charges. Then, five $45 charges in a row. That's how they like to roll. Test the waters and then BAM! Lucky I caught it in time.

Yeah, it was really bad, $1,800 out of his account. Luckily the bank is covering it.

Last year someone who worked for a CC company sold thousands numbers in one day. Mine being one of those, and my bank took a week to notify me by mail. Could be one those type deals.

His came almost immediately after making a purchase at cabellas.com. Guess it could have been some nasty spyware.
