I don't think you have still turned over a new leaf. You are still saying that you will pay back people if things work out for you. What if the guy who you owe $300 was counting on that money to pay rent and food for his family???
Just because that project went dead for you does not mean that you can leave him in the lurch, which is what you did. Even now, if you really want to redeem your fault, you should scrape whatever money you have and pay the guy. Anything less means that you are still a scammer.

Well, mainly because I'm making next to nothing right now, so I have nothing to pay him with. New things that I'm trying, if they go well, will make it possible to pay him back. This is what I get for treating things so badly at the start.
Well, that wasn't the case, as he's said that money is no problem, he makes huge amounts, etc. Of course, if I had it, I would. This is motivation to me to try even harder at the things I'm doing now so I'm able to pay him back, but unfortunately I won't be able to pay him yet, as bad as it makes me look.

Honestly if things go as well as I'm hoping, it'll be next Wednesday at the latest (the 14th).. I'm sure hoping for it.

Re: How Your Past Can Haunt You
Its OK buddy. You burnt a few bridges in your past. Everyone has done something they are not proud of. It is good that you have realized it and want to correct it. Good luck to you.

I did just read the rules, and it specifically says only services offered here on BHW, so I guess I'll remove this until the other end decides they want to post something, even if against the rules.
Sorry mods, please delete this if you see fit.

I appreciate it, however I don't believe I deserve the optimism. But thank you very much.

Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future.- Oscar Wilde
Good luck man, hope you stay on the good side.
One quick thing though is even if you don't have the money right now then you could always message that guy with what happened and say your sorry (if you haven't already) It sounds cliche but sometimes it really does help.

Thank you for the optimism.
We've been talking, however he is offline right now. I'm sure we'll have a good bit to continue talking about tomorrow, and he may even post here with some screenshots and such if he'd like to continue this thread.
