Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
ARGH!!! Clickbank does it again! I have a customer who tried to purchase a product via my affiliate link and he say that Clickbank was
unable to process his order at this time...
I mean... is there suppose to be a specific time for people to purchase via the Internet... Clickbank is really getting on my nerve with this shit... I promote via PPC and i'm losing money if they continue to have this f**king error...

Instead of making off hand remarks that are so very useful, how about qualifying this for people? Do you think they should use another network? If so, which one?
How often does this happen on CB? Or, how long has this been happening to you?

Agreed.

Seems to depend upon where in the CB network an affiliate's stats are hosted. After certain CB "upgrades" in September, I've not had a single sale with traffic and CTR remaining constant. The ugly details are all over the IM forums, so I'll not rehash them in gory detail here.
I've clicked on my own links only to find "affiliate=none" when I get to the merchant landing page. Other affiliates aren't experiencing the same issues. So yes, I'd say CB has some tracking issues in some areas of their network.

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
Well I just started getting into clickbank heavily myself . Most people would see this info and say ohh CRAP let me build up around another affiliate company . Me I see it as an oprotunity the less people who promote via clickbank the less competition I will have .
Eventually the tracking issues will be resolved it is no problem . What you should look at is long term . Will clickabnk be around 1 year from now? 2 years from now ? 5 YEARS from now ? The answer to all these is yes. Clickbank is not going anywhere .
So be my guest go to another program it is no sweat off my back . While you guys are taking down your clickbank pages and starting to promote other products my pages will be up on the top. Making real cash .
There is no affilaite network that is 100 percent all the time . They all go down they all get bugs when they try to revamp there system it is just something that happens . So yeah you might loose a couple a dolalrs for a month or two but honestly what is 2 months? 60 days .. nothing more . How many times in your life has your online income been hampered for a couple of months ? Did you start out a pro making thousands? I bet not .
This is just something that happens from time to time . Nothing more . People who actually stick with it and wait it out will be rewarded . No I do not mean clickbank will say here is a bonus for staying with us while we messed up everything . No I mean your hard work and dedication will be your own reward .
Me personally I will continue to make money on the internet . In some form or another . But just because an affilaite company is having a little problems I am not going to go run to another company .
Funny thing is i am not even sure it is click bank . I think it is the authors . i have followed my link before I put them up . The ones that have either a blank referal or someone elses referal I immediately deleate . The ones that show me as a referal I keep . I noticed that on those it always shows me as a referal . So my thing is i wander if perchance the Webmasters themselves are cheating the affilaites by 1 out of so many it will blank the referal .
Now I know what you are saying DO YOU HAVE ANY PROOF . Well no I do not . But does anyone have any proof the webmasters themselves are not doing this ? Also tell me you know and I know that this is most definately possible to do .
As far as them not being able to process orders it is just a bug I am sure they are working on as we speak . It may take 2 months 3 months to get fixed but it will . I mean honestly if they can not process an order there money is going down the drain . You better believe they are trying to fix this .

Other than the only affiliate revenue stream for myself and many, many others has ClickBank in common with traffic & CTR remaining constant or even increasing? Nope!
Feel free to search both Warrior Forum and Wicked Fire for substantial discussions on ClickBank revenue disappearing for many affiliates.

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
Thanks Sine, it deadens an end, at least for now, on something I was going to do, at least with them.
valwardon, you need to be a bit more specific on which webmasters you are referring. The CB webmasters or the merchant webmasters?
If you are referring to CB, then, they, like all others networks have the shaving problem, and, for grins, we'll say that none of that happens intentionally. Computers have problems, float point errors and the like, life goes on.
If you are referring to the merchants, well, how dare they.
lol
How many affiliates on on this new software? Think I'll go check my account and see what I find in this department.

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
So what you are saying is that there is no way webmasters can be blanking the referal so that they do not ahve to pay affilaites ... Why would clickbank care if an affilaite gets a sell or not ? They get paid the same either way ...
@Caretaker the CB webmasters sir.
@ sine thought I would say this in particular . I am not trying to disagree I am just gathering information . I highly respect your opinion . But I am not one to go blindly follow a pack . That is why I ask and come to conclusions that I do . To other my opinons may not add up . But it all works out in my own head :P

I'm not saying that at all. I'm not sure where you got that.
Sure, all 32 merchants whom I promote could have begun blanking the referrers at the exactly the same time last month. Yep, that is certainly within the realm of possibility. Is it possible that all of the merchants that other affiliates are promoting who are posting about issues on the IM forums did the same thing at the same time? Sure, it's possible. But is it likely? I don't think so.
Again, it seems to be an issue with certain CB affiliates and points to a network inconsistency. And again, I am not the only affiliate that saw CB sales cease abruptly last month with consistent or increasing traffic and CTR.

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
You may be right sine and probably most certainly are . But if it is an error in CB's side I am sure they will get it fixed . I mean honestly it may not be instantly that they get it fixed but I am sure that they will .
that kinda helped to shed some light on the situation . CB has a good track record up till recently though . They are not known to be a scam company . So any errors on there side will be fixed rest assured because they know if they do not get those errors fixed it will be loss of money to them .
*Thanks for clearing that up Sine*

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
Many of us have contacted them with statistics, including screenshots of earnings & the blanked referrer. All we received in return from CB was a form response saying they have no idea why we're experiencing this isolated incidence. It ain't isolated, by any stretch.

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
Huh well that is even wierder . Well why would they allow an error on there part to just lie and not fix it ? They would loose money by doing that . This actually makes no sense to me . Trying to even figure this out makes my head spin .
This warps all reality. They have an awsome cash making machine . Affilaites all over the world making them money like no tomorrow . Now these affilaites go elsewhere because of an error on there part . Some of the pros go elsewhere because of an error on there part . Money goes to another affilaite comapny do to an error on there part . They loose alot of business because of an error on tehre part . They are no longer a cash machine . Clickbank closes it doors.
WHAT!! I can not fathom why a company would want to suffer that kind of death . That is absolutely horrible.
Sine from what you described it sounds as if CB is commiting sucide.

Hi Money2spare:
What other digital affiliate network other than CB are you using to build revenue?

It all started at the same time they put in the currency converters. And, again, it's not impacting ALL affiliates. But it is impacting a significant number that it's a topic of discussion across several IM forums, wherein the timeframe and symptoms are fairly identical for those of us who are experiencing issues.

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
Thanks once again for the info Sine . I am still going to go through with my CB promotions though . I still want a personal experince . Like I said I am not one to just follow the pack as I usually end up thinking up ways to not lead the pack but to be the pack itself .
So far things look chipper for me as far as CB it is quick easy cash partaining to my audience . What could be better. It is really hard to actually find a product for some of my interest but CB does make it easy .
Honestly some of my sites adsense sucks even though I have a great CTR . It is just not a paying niche . CB makes it profitable . CB puts the money back into my hands .
However to put all your eggs in one basket is kinda stupid though . So I will keep up my other streams as well to make even more cash . Multiple streams of income . God I love that book :P My first introduction to affiliate marketing .

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
I really like CB but as soon as I started having good profit with them, I get affiliate=none glitch and lack of sales despite having more traffic. I really hate this because there is no real alternative and I mostly promote CB products. I actually hope they will fix these problems soon because it's clickbank after all.

Re: Clickbank Unable To Process Order...
Ever wonder if the product that you are promoting is shortchanging you? As in when a customer gets redirected to the product site from ClickBank, the site will clear the affiliate id. This way when that customer buy that product, you as the affiliate get 0% while the product owner gets 100%.
It could even be a very random thing that the product owner do. Every 3rd customer will get the affiliate id removed.

You know I think they are fucing me over as much as they can. 160 very targeted hops and no sales...yeah right.
