Australian company don't pay for my work, how should I do?
I always believe that Australian people are kindness and have good responsibility. But...
They are the IT and computer repair services in Australia. They have 5 different websites target different city in Australia plus 2 of their client's sites all are getting good result, ranking on first, 2nd and 3rd page of Google Australia. I work for this company for about 5 months and they didn't paid me for the last 2 months no reply to my last 2 emails.
Note that I didn't make any contract with this company because they are brother in law of my Australian friend. (Yes, I know it's my bad!)
Now that I don't expect any money from them but I would like to give them some lesson. Any recommended ideas would be really appreciated!

Re: Australian company don't pay for my work, how should I do?
Next time, whenever you do any seo work, point the links towards your own domain.
Then make a 301 redirect from your domain to your clients' site.
So, basically you keep the 301 redirect as long as they keep paying you money.
And in case they refuse to pay, remove the 301 redirect right away. They will lose the link juice and they will fall back to where they were before.

Re: Australian company don't pay for my work, how should I do?
ask them first that you can use your power of forums to write bad review about experience, and i hope they know what can be done and later on just go with your review tell every one who did what with you with their names and emails and urls, when any client reach by google to your threads they also know what they did with SEO. and will not like them. so in this way your hard earned money is not given you back, but you take revenge.

Hi searcher,
Yes, I am thinking to this. I also plan to write on my blog (politely) and with the help of some social media friends, I should be able to spread around. What do you think?

How exactly do 301 redirects work? Point the backing to your domain and redirect it? Wouldn't that make a difference when doing anchor text keywords as your gettin the backlink not them?

I don't think this is the best advice to be giving if your running a business. If you are providing a monthly service and the client is paying you what gives you the right to remove their links if they decided to stop? What was the purpose of them paying you for the X amount of months you have been doing it for. Believe me business people do not liked to be trapped and will not go down without a fight if you decided to do this. If you were to pursue this though it would need to be clearly stated in a contract otherwise it will turn into a shit fight.
Their are much better ways of doing business IMO.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

Re: Australian company don't pay for my work, how should I do?
this is brutal but if they deserve it and you have the skills to do it then hack their website get the database post it pastebin and wipe the content
but if you get caught that is your problem :-)

Also scrape like a 200k list and spam links to their site. Not only would this effect their rankings, but would provide a bad reputation towards their company.

- some things I've learned. Every business has a competitor- try to contact the competitor. Explain that the business you used to work for is now ranking very well in google. Would you like the same? Please sign this and will begin. Now that your a industry expert and know how to advertise. Ultimate revenge is making more money!
time to play the game.

Re: Australian company don't pay for my work, how should I do?
Create 4-5 articles talking bad about them, then link to them with automatic tools etc so that when somebody look for them they will see bad reviews and complaints written about them. Inverted Reputation management

Re: Australian company don't pay for my work, how should I do?
I have always heard Aussies pay on time really well. I have only had two clients from AU and they did indeed pay within a couple of days.
Do NOT threaten them or get nasty. That will get you nothing.
Email them a short letter and say something like, " I know how busy you are with work and I know you didn't mean to forget about me. It has been over a month since you received the work I provided for you. We both have good reputations for both offline and online work and we definitely want to keep it that way. I would like to put this bill behind us so I am resending the invoice.

Place a program on your email that tells you if your email was read. You probably will get your money.

301 redirects can be traced.
If I hired a backlinker who did that, I'd sack 'em straight away.
