[BEWARE] PTC Shop - Zack Myers - ocnod1234@yahoo.com
I am not into PTC sites but one of my friends needed a PTC website and asked for help.
I have been aware that most of these scripts had some faults and I made a research on the scripts and came across the PTC Shop script.
I have contacted the seller, his name was "Zack Myers" and my friend loved his script as it has been offering us many advertising areas and many language and translation options.
We have made the purchase via PayPal and we downloaded the script. After that we have came across some errors.
When we made a new account in English (default language), the user could only log on in English version of the site. If the user choose Spanish as his language, he could not even log in.
Also when we tried to edit any user’s details, the script gave errors. So we sent "Zack Myers" an email. We had no replies, and Zack did not seem to do anything although he had the server’s accredential information. We sent him 5 more emails in 2 days but there were no replies, so we felt that he was disregarding us.
My friend sent him an email from another email address, which seemed to be sent from someone who is interested in buying the script and "Zack Myers" replied in an hour! So it is a proof that he was cheating on us!
So I opened a dispute on PayPal and waiting either "Zack Myers" to respond to the situation or to get the money back!
Code:
The problematic script : PTC Shop
URL : www.ptcshop.com
Owner of the script : Zack Myers
Personal and Paypal Email : ocnod1234@yahoo.com

Re: [BEWARE] PTC Shop - Zack Myers - ocnod1234@yahoo.com
Hi,
My name is Zack, this user had an issue with the script concerning using multi-byte character codes in the username that had caused the issue. Knowing that now I am able to patch the script, however the user has posted many complaints, filed "Significantly not as described" disputes via paypal, and still maintains to use the script.
I had communicated that I was working on the problem and would respond when I had a solution and would provide a bug fix, because not every script can be perfect, and updating users worked for me (since I was using English characters for usernames), however during my research and work to fix it they filed many complaints to this an other places, as well as paypal, and even had someone email me a simple sales question that I responded to fairly quickly cause it was easy to respond to, as opposed to fixing a bug and updating someones site that I couldn't re-produce at the time as he did not explain that the user they were attempting to update was "şŞıİğĞüÜöÖçÇ".
I will be updating the latest copy and resolving any issues, however everyone must understand that tracking bugs, the cause, and finding solutions can take time, however I do work to provide all bug fixes as quickly as possible, and I do provide the service for free, as I always have.
If anyone has any questions, contact me via my website,
Thanks,
Zack M.

Re: [BEWARE] PTC Shop - Zack Myers - ocnod1234@yahoo.com
First of all.
You are clearly wrong on your guess at your own script's errors!
It is clearly a database problem but not regarding to usernames.
We made all the accounts with English characters and use no Turkish characters!
Secondly, if you tell you were on this issue then you are clearly not telling the truth because the cPanel password has been changed at the first day of your non responding service!
The problem is not about the bugs. The problem is about getting no replies from you as you reply a new buyer but you disregard a customer who paid you!

Zack (ocnod), please reply. I sent several e-mails to you asking some news about updating the script at cashdavid, but didn't get any reply.
Please answer something just to know that you are there. Even if you have problems or unable to update or busy with other job. The silence is worse than even bad news.
