My first problem with a scammer - need some advices
So this is my first time that I've got scammed via paypal, so I need some advices.
I payed for a service that had to be done in 24h
The service did not get delivered in 24h
5 day's later the seller is not responding
8 day's later the seller is still not responding, I'm opening a paypal dispute and ask for a refund
The user bullshit's something in the dispute and cancels the refund
OK, what now? ;(
Is there anywhere a magic button that can just get my money back to my cc, like the one in the JR.VIP that we have?

Re: My first problem with a scammer - need some advices
I think you can call your CC company and do a chargeback through them (rather than PP)

Re: My first problem with a scammer - need some advices
Sorry to tell you, but If you do a chargeback now, after losing the pp dispute, you will fail in the chargeback too. It was stated somewhere in PP's website, but dont ask me for the link. I cant find it now. I had an experience myself, where I just bet a chargeback and won.
Still, it wont harm to give a try. Maybe if PP changed its terms? Be Positive. Good Luck.

Yes ... dispute it with the CC company if you paid with your card attached to PayPal, rather than funds deposited into the account. PayPal is just the processor/gateway and can just blow you off if they want.
If it was an AMEX card they always stand behind their members. Can't tell you about Visa or MC

Re: My first problem with a scammer - need some advices
I believe (in the uk at least) you can file a chargeback on your card since it is goods/services you have not received. You have a legal right to do this and the cc company will refund you your money. However paypal work from their own rules. The chargeback will most likely be deducted from your paypal balance, if it is 0, then you will have a negative balance.
I'm not sure how that works, but since PP is crooked at best, I'd be careful about setting up any other accounts with the same details if you decide that you are going to "close" your negative balance account. This may also be considered fraud and I would advise against it.

Re: My first problem with a scammer - need some advices
Sorry, maybe I misread, but is the PP dispute still going on?
Chances are you'll WIN your PP dispute, especially if it is a non-tangible service/product. Stick with it and unless you've got a ridiculous habit of chargebacks with your PP account you should be fine.

Yup, it's still going on. I will stick to it until I get the next respond from the seller. But the cancellation of the refund was the thing that irritated me ;(
My God, what people won't do for a couple of dollars..

Mate, follow my suggestion and you're good to go..
Step 1:
Login to your PayPal account
Step 2: Go to resolution center
Final step: Just escalate that PayPal dispute u've made to PayPal review department and Paypal team itself will investigate the situation between you and the seller.. the best part is PayPal Team is on your side! No worries at all! Give it a shot mate..

In my experience it is the other way around. It is very difficult for a buyer to prove non-delivery of a non-tangible product or service.

I'm glad you got your money back.I heard pp looks more into buyers than sellers,so its easy for you to get your money back.
If this happens again you could always contact paypal to help you out.
