Guys, ever heard of W2servers? The Super Scammers? If not it’s a MUST for you to go through this!

Our Company found w2 servers at WebhostingTalk before a year. Their deals seemed to be much cheap than others which made us to consult them, after which we bought several servers from them.
At the time of Buying their company was named DynamoVPS.com and soon they shifted their works to w2servers.com


Do you know why?


With their brainwashing deals, they looted a solid cash from several hundred members at WEBHOSTINGTALK & Vanished with their money into the sky. We weren’t aware of this at the time of buying.
Initially we bought 2 VPS’es and their plans are priced such that their VPS’es seem cheap when purchased for the yearly subscription( The YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION is their TRAP to take away people’s cash). We never realized it and paid for the yearly plans.


The Plan was as follows


2GB RAM
Dual core Processor
100 MBPS port


When we received our First 2 VPS’es they had ONLY (We received 2 weeks after ordering them, but our billing/subscription date was the same as that of the order date!!!)


1GB of RAM
Single Core
Speed was abt 500 kbps

When questioned they said “ Sorry, the offer was posted wrong by some staff at webhostingtalk”

For a week the conversation was going regarding this.

After a week, When we replied back “ A feedback will be given at WHT regarding this….”

They got back to us saying “Even though it was our staff’s fault, we’ll give you additional RAM not for your feedback, but our reputation”

Do you think the RAM/Processor was UPGRADED after this?

NOPE! It took 40 SOLID days to get it done after several irritating mails! At the time of installing 30% of our subscription period was over!

Moreover Windows OS’es on the servers were fully PIRATED!

A Guy named Kevin from their company mailed me saying that if we purchase more VPS’es from him, he could give us a bulk discount on a 6 month deal & seduced us to pay more on their HALF-YEARLY Plans.


We were at 6 VPS’es and he forced us to buy more by sending consecutive mails, saying that purchasing more will help him get a higher post in his company and in turn he will help us getting good deals.


When we replied back that “ We have to settle with our old VPS’es and only then we can purchase NEW ONES, they took down all of our VPS’es and even after posting in their support area, sending mails their was NO REPLY!

It was then, when we agreed to purchase more, they IMMEDIATELY bought back all our servers!

So, we had no other way to pay since we had all valuable data! Once paid after a week there came another mail asking us to come online at chat, saying that he had a great deal. They were saying that a NEW SERVER has been released which we could purchase.

Again the same story! When we disagreed they took down all of our servers saying “ MAINTENANCE” for 9 SOLID DAYS! Once we agreed to purchase it, they were online and support seemed to return!

We paid over $1k for the DEDICATED SERVER WITH 1GBPS port.

It was over 37 days. Replies and mails, each of which were IGNORED! And the 37th day when we threatened to file a Chargeback with our Bank there came back a reply back saying “It’ll be ready in 2 more days”


We waited! After 2 days when again we opted for Chargeback, they said they were not willing to work with such type of people and credited our account with the money( NOT PAYPAL BUT W2servers account balance).


When we asked to refund it, they replied back “Billing is processing it” It took almost 30 days till we lost our patience and when we asked “where is our money” , they replied “ Billing takes time to process it. We have NO CONTROL over it” and after 2 days, came a mail saying “ your servers were FINED $1000 for abuse” and they took away our credit, and said “ The credit wasn’t enough for the ABUSE” and invoiced us with more $$$.



They took all our servers down! When we refused to pay. When asked for the ABUSE invoices, they REFUSED to send it.


When paid over $1k, they replied back saying it’s against our TOS to have servers online when they’re ABUSED, and terminated all of our servers! And forced us to buy servers in NEW LOCATIONS.



We responded saying “ We don’t like to continue with you. Please bring them online so we can backup data”, they reverted saying “ We can only bring them online after PURCHASING NEW Servers for you to backup. Please place orders on them IMMEDIATELY, before abuse has them gone”

This is as of Today. Now they have over 3k of our MONEY!

Key Points :

1. Their Servers are down for 40% of the time.
2. They Put all our 12 VPS’es on the same CONGESTED NODE.
3. Speed was worser, and we got abt 200-250 kbps on a server.
4. They will NOT support until you Purchase new servers on a regular basis for them to run off with your money!
5. When we asked for Genuine windows, it took over a month to fight back with them, and even after that NO GENUINE WINDOWS was installed! All that was wasted was our time and energy!
6. When we asked them to TRANSFER locations for our server, NOT A SINGLE PROPER RESPONSE came out! Each response was timed out by 3 days, and it took over 47 days, when they said that “ WE WILL NOT” indirectly!
7. They took over 3k of our money, and they have a super history of looting money!
8. Out of the 6 months we used them, the servers were online only for 2 months!
9. We still have over 1.5k of prorated credit for the existing servers which they refused to get online until we purchase NEW SERVERS

Ive heard nothing but bad news from everyone who has used these clowns. This is the first i have heard about them using pirated OS's on their servers though..if they are that stupid and are really doing this just report them to Microsoft. They are nothing but scam merchants and will give you crappy under configured specs hoping you will not notice. This is why I would never pay for a year up front with anyone.. especially a mickey mouse outfit like this, they just bank the money and hold you to ransom.

these w2 guys suck- i never got a refund for a full year server purchase that worked for 3 weeks then died, with everyhting on it. total scam

rough stuff-- you should saw it coming when you noticed the windows versions were nulled... thats a big red flag if I have seen one.

yearly contract is another big red flag... there are way to many potential problems for you to pay in advance for months.

I think I found their address and phone number online. But am I allowed to post it here? Nevermind, it's easy to find. I'm pretty sure someone had tried to contact them before.

How did you respond them? You have to take action & spread the word to save your friends.

Always use common sense when signing up to a new service!

Never sign a 1/yr contract with a new company. Pay by the month until you are satisfied with the service and support. Even then I wouldn't move to paying yearly unless the incentive was substantial.

KEEP A BACKUP!
Amazon S3 is a really cheap service for a cloud backup solution. There are plugins for Joomla/Wordpress/etc to backup to S3 and I'm sure the same exists for windows VPS installs.

Well after reading this thread i took some action and filed a chargeback with my credit card for the RAM and CPU upgrades i bough, and have opened a claim with paypal for the hosting transaction. Paypal claims said that even though the transaction was well over 45 days ago, they would definitely investigate and i emailed in PDF printouts of my 'support' tickets from W2 showing them offering a refund, me accepting, then no response from W2 for months.

Bottom line, if you bought hosting from W2 and got suckered like me, go open a dispute in paypal or your credit card or both, right now- it was easy. just need the paypal transaction ID, file the claim, if it gets auto closed as being over 45 days, call paypal at 402-935-7733 and they will escalate to the fraud department.

the more peopel that open claims or fraud complaints, the better off we will all be. Go do it now

I feel sorry for what happened but I must say that you are more kind then ever.

Thanks for that! My transaction is before 4 months. Let me call them, and submit the necessary files, and lets see what happens.
