Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
I just wanted to let you know, that I was scammed $2.4K at affiliate.com
and each time I try to contact those guys what happened with my account they just don't reply or just say that the traffic that I sent to them was not good enough.
All was in perfect order, EPC, the campaigns as they described...
Stay away from them!
Take care

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
Can you explain what they did? Did you make 2.4K sales and they didn't pay you, or did you invest 2.4K and nothing happened? I think it's dangerous working with a massive network because it's harder to get to know the people that way. Work one on one with someone you can get to know and that have a reputation you can check on.

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
Well, I did run an offer with them and got leads.
They said that were not satisfied by the leads and closed my account.
I tried to talk to these people, emailed them and so on but no response. Its been 2weeks now and I did earn $2.4K and all are gone.
sad, huh!
lesson, stay away from them.

You should have checked the quality of leads with your AM before scaling it up.You should have discussed with your AM about the methods you are using to promote the offer.Always communicate with your AM before promoting the offer and while running the offer !

How did you generate the leads? Blackhat, whitehat, clean Adwords leads, ppv? I have run clean white hat traffic and gotten paid on time every time. So adding them to the shit list if your complaining about not being paid for bh traffic is kind of lame! Anything blackhat would have gotten your account closed and they would have every right not to pay you. Sucks I know, but that is the nature of the beast.

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
It can happen to anyone ho is not promoting direclty, but through big affiliate networks.
If they did not make more money out of your leads than your rate per lead, then you're facing a wall.

For as easy as it is to say this, it's also just as easy for a AM w/a company to give the aff. marketer a 'heads up' about their leads not converting and maybe doing things differently!
What's happened to 'communication' these days? Seems it's just easier for these networks to close out an account w/out ANY TYPE of communication being established for the mere fact that it's 'the easiest thing to do!'...and in the process, allows the network to make quick easy cash!
Now that I think about it, I should create an ebook on how to setup an affiliate 'network', promote it saying 'well take any traffic', then when the leads don't convert, close the account and keep the affiliate marketer's earned commission for yourself...talk about 'quick cash' eah?

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
Well, thats not how it should be done. Right?
Its $2.4K near to $2.5K and I needed the money to continue the work.
They did disappoint me. Not even email-ed me back or such thing. If you want loaylty you need to communicate as you said H2oBoy.
Well, all is well what ends well - right?
I will not give up, but I will have a negative feeling about their work.

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
Amish Shah had a video out over the past couple of years that completely busted out Affiliate.com aka CPAEmpire.com. I had trouble with them 2 years ago, and I won't use them again. They took away some of my commissions, which were completely white hat.
They may work well with others, but I had a bad experience with them. I called up my AM, who was a dick at the time, and basically told him about Amish's video. He acted all aloof and he was slow as hell to return calls or IM's. I was making around 5k a month with them, and I kindly took my traffic to other networks. About 3 months later, I had a new AM who contacted me and was curious as to why I stopped sending so much traffic to them. I kindly explained that he worked for a crook and to cancel my account. Never heard from them again.

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
What they did was they would cancel affiliate programs once I started making money with them.
I wouldn't even know the campaigns had disappeared so I kept sending traffic.
They get nothing from me now.

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
Very interesting comments on affiliate as my ppl and I have mad well over $400k with them. To each it's own though as I had some trouble with other big networks and could say the same.

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
Just to share some thoughts, they scammed me maybe like 3 years ago around about the same amount it's been a while, but i do remember them not paying i got a email from my AM saying they needed to check into my leads so i said sure, 1.5 weeks passed my account was still active so I emailed them asking what's going on with my account then i get a response back "your leads wasn't good enough blah blah" then closed my account.
I think they were scamming myself, because if my leads were that bad they would have closed my account when we first talked about however it took me to email them, for them to say oh btw the leads were no good BAN!

Re: Stay away from affiliate.com, scammed $2.4K
You know the shitlist is only for stuff you bought via the BST section of this site and not for bitching about affiliate companies. God knows i have wanted to shitlist Neverblue after they fucked me and a friend out of $25,000.
But hey, shit happens.
