Cynical made a thread on 1st Jan of this month seeking investment in his business.He claimed to give 40% returns on the deposits with a minumum threshold of $100.I paid him in good faith.The thread seems to be gone.But I have his correspondence in pm.

Well,it is truly said that "A fool and his money his parted soon".I played the part of the fool perfectly.

$100 is big amount to me,it will take me around 5-6 months to earn it back.Much more important than losing my money,I lost the trust,which in my opinion is more valuable.

Now this member is very well alive and kicking, sniffing opportunities to hook up naives.

I am ready to give transaction details to moderators.I paid via LR.Again big mistake since I had no balance in paypal.

I will be obliged if some action is taken against this guy.

Well if it would take you 5-6 months to earn it back - you REEEEALLY shouldn't have invested it. This is how most people loose money - in hopes of doubling it quickly or getting massive returns.

Hope something can be done abt this as the member is frm BHW.

Yep,I m in a 9-5 job,hence dont have much time to be in online money making.I have learnt lesson now.I know its no use regretting,thing is others should not be scammed by this guy.

Think about these kind of deals like a poker player does. When they enter a room and look around unsuccessfully to find the "fish", they are usually aware enough to realize that they are the "fish"

Yes but most likely the OP is a friendly guy (as I see he isn't using caps as most of the others do...). He is just a friendly guy probably, wanting to help another guy out, even if it means sending him $100 which takes 5-6 months to earn for him. Well I think that if it's true what you are saying, then you deserve more than $100 back.

If it is sounds too good to be true...

Think about it if he really had something so good he would make 40% in that amount of time he would be living in a mansion made of gold with hot girls as his armchairs...

Interest rate of the best and richest hedge fund managers in the world who manage TRILLIONS of dollars can't even touch 40% return in that short amount of time... so... you should probably know things wouldn't end well.

That being said we all make mistakes at least it was a cheap one!

What was the nature of the investment?
The best advice I can give you is not to be such a "nice guy".

Don't invest in anyone and if you do; research. I just checked his posts and noticed the following contradiction:

I never knew a "Shit List" sub forum existed, much less that I would be accused in it.

I just found out about this thread when 7878 PM'ed me about it.
I have work and school and I leave my laptop on the whole day, so that might explain why it might seem that I am online. I might need a bit more time to clear my name and provide all of the necessary proof, but I will clear my name. I just ask that you are a bit patient with me.

Anyway, I gave goodguy333 a refund about a week ago. I will post proof of that as well. I don't know why he started this thread claiming I ran away with his money. I guess he just wants some money for "wasting his time" or so he said.

Once again, I ask that you give me a bit of time.

To be honest, for ANYONE reading this thread,
you should note a few things about BHW...
a). unfortunately scammers exists,
b). VAST MAJORITY of members here are NOT spammers/ thieves.
c). anyone caught spamming WILL suffer the full consequences,
becasue IMHO, if there is one thing that is dealt with swiftly and fairly
inside BHW, it is simply that spammers have NO PLACE in BHW. simples.
It goes against the ethos and environment inside BHW of caring and sharing information to benefit ALL members, and they (scammers) are cast out
like devils into the DP sea or elsewhere.


I think we all have a duty to report such things, and allow the allegations to either found out to be true / false / misunderstanding.

This way, we will all keep the integrity and respect which BHW members so richly deserves.

Only do business when its approved by mods... Thats special of this forum. I dont know you fell in to this trap...

Cynical sent me some screenshots showing a refund was made to goodguy333's LR account. I had goodguy333 on a TeamViewer session and no such refund was ever made, so I requested a TeamView session with Cynical to verify the transaction. That request has gone unanswered for nearly a week, even after seeing Cynical active on the forum several times since PM'ing him. I can only assume at this point that the refund was never made, the screenshots manufactured, and that he has no intention to pay goodguy333.

Cynical is permanently banned, sorry you couldn't get refunded goodguy333. If anything changes and Cynical makes good on this deal, just let me know.

On a side note, a bit of due diligence and research could have saved you both from this entire mess. If an investment opportunity offers a ridiculously high return for a small amount in a short period of time, your common sense should be telling you it's total bullshit. Listen to your gut and do your homework. Sheesh.
