So, I ditched SBC Yahoo DSL the other day and got Comcast hispeed. I get 8,131kb/s dl and 1,215 kb/s....

...but the problem is whenever I download large files the internet connection goes out sometimes. Even uTorrent gets fast speed at the beginning and just dies all the time. Anyone have anyways to fix this issue? I keep reading about portfoward.com fix. I have a WCG200 modem.

comcast throttles p2p. bad move dropping sbc. just google comcast p2p throttling

yeah comcast is a real pile of shit when it comes to p2p. They've also recently enacted a cap on your BW. I believe it's 250GB

Yea, ugh. SBC was a piece of shit but atleast I didn't have issues downloading. The customer service rep is no help.... I'll figure something out.... hopefully

Also, this will be appealed until the end of time, but Comcast is getting slapped by the FCC for deep packet analysis and traffic modeling for the purposes of disabling peer-to-peer applications.
