Default Another PayPal Complaint, Will I get my money back?

So yeah, I got f*cked over by Dejacrew or Jonathan Semenick or Cemenuk or whatever that homo's name is...there's variations he goes by...

My bank charged back the $199 and my PayPal showed a negative balance of that amount...

Unfortunately, someone unknowing of the situation sent me $150 for a freelance job and PayPal applied that money to my negative balance...

Dammit, I was thinking about issuing a refund for the $150, PayPal takes it from my checking account...

Then I do another charge back for the $150...and get that money back...

Then I put some kind of Fraud Alert on all my cards and accounts listed in PayPal so they can't try to take that money back...and if they do, another charge back will be waiting...

Would that work? I truly believe I deserve that $199 Dejascammer stole, Plus the $150 for the freelance work...

That's almost $350 I won't see, problem is I have a PayPal credit card and I'm sure they wouldn't let me stop themselves from taking money from me...

Well, with that thought I was also thinking of just not paying the bill ever, then filing disputes with the 3 main credit bureaus so it doesn't necessarily affect my credit...and if PayPal doesn't respond to those disputes, they get dropped from my credit profile - in theory...

Any thoughts?

this is a tough one. If you can get it cleared from your credit history, then go for it, if not, and you can afford it, i would just put the balance back to zero with your own funds and work doubly hard to make that money back.

Better yet, change your ebay epn commissions to deposit into your paypal, and make ebay pay for it

Have you called PayPal and talked to someone about your situation? As silly as it sounds, it works really well.

Well here is the deal,

You can keep doing chargebacks, but obviously Paypal does have your Social Security Number since they already ran a credit check on you when you applied for their credit card. Most likely, if you do not remove your bank accounts off of Paypal (which you probebly can't right now since you are negative) they have the right to withdraw the money out of your checking account and a chargeback will not take affect as you agreed to their TOS rules when you signed up.

I recommend doing the following:

- Call your bank, ask them to freeze any and all payments from paypal. They will most likely do so for at least 6 months and you might have to pay a small fee.

- You can do the chargebacks, but you might get hit by a collections agency within a few months of Paypal trying to collect the debit.

- Now you will have to either pay the debit back, or you can try and claim that it was not you who was using the account. Many people get their information stolen on a daily bases, and Paypal is the worst at that, as they do not protect their consumer information according to many of other professionals.

- Call Paypal and tell them situation before attempting anything, threaten them with a chargeback and tell them that you will not be paying a dime for fraud, as it is a part of their agreement with you. Shit, I would threaten them with a lawsuit at that point too. Good luck!

First, try to resolve this with Paypal customer support. When that does not work, and it probably won't, file a complaint about Paypal with the Better Business Bureau where their head office is located (San Jose, CA I think). You can do this over the web. I have found that Paypal responds quickly to BBB complaints. Usually you will get a phone call in a few days from a real person who can fix the problem.
