Hello everyone--- I read this whole thread and I am responding on behalf Spud Junior. I don't log on that much to blackhat world as you can see my history, or my posts. I have only logged on here to hire people for free lance work, cuz all of you guys are geniuses when it comes to getting help with internet stuff. Long story short I mean Spud Jr over 4 to 5 months ago. I orginally hired him for CL paid posting and he was able to get an ad up for me, but after that he had no luck. He tried for 2 weeks striaght and was in constant commuincation with me. He then refunded me my money without me even asking because he could not complete the job. Since then I haven't had much contact with him intill now. 2 days ago I found him under yahoo screen name not knowing it was him, because when we orginally chatted it was through gmail. I hired him again for a different type of job and send him 100 bucks. He was trying to cut me a deal and told me to send him another 100 bucks but i said hell no.... Because I didnt know who he was.... at the end of the conversation i asked if he had a gmail chat id.... and he gave it to me..... and i was like holy crap ... its you dude!!!!!!!!!! i quikcly sent him another 100 bucks for the work he is going to do for starting next week.

Now why does anyone care about any of this??? Because I wouldnt be wasting my time writing this and backing him up if he wasnt a legit dude. He gave me money back and did the right thing. And had it not have been for his honestly ad returning my money the first time around I would have never sent him 200 bucks in one shot.

As far as for this whole thread is concerned..makes perfect sense to me.... if van owed spud for work he was hired for....then its even steven in my opinon. But spud is not a scammer at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG MAN! I sent my own cash to him and he have to give that to me! Thats all!

Varun has completed the article writing, article posting, social bookmarking, and blog commenting.

So I have no more qualms. But I hope he upholds the other things he promised me because of the work being so late...

well it looks like SPUDJr. should atleast send Varun's money (550$) because that has nothing to do with the work taken , it was his money which he just wanted in his bank account , due to paypal issues.

I don't know about the deal , but i see no reason why spudjr. is keeping those 550$ with him when it has nothing to do with work given to varun.

I just sent him the remainder that Chris had sent him. He is completely paid up for.

Varun apparently owes Spud articles as well. I'm not sure on the rest of the situation, but I am no longer involved as Varun has completed my work.

Dude I was studying for an exam. The drama on this thread just made me fail.

I am oyeah22's partner in his deal. Spud has told us that he would refund our money if we would like, but would like to have the chance to fulfill the order. We are a week behind, but he is starting today. He has also offered extras to make up for this. The communication is there, so I am confident that this is being worked out. In our case....delays maybe, buy he ain't a scammer.

Count me as one of the non Spud fans and current victims. What pisses me off is I read his BS post about getting ripped off by a partner and I went out of my way to help a fellow BHW member. Paid him $100 up front 10 days ago. He said I would have it in 24 hours. Never happened.

His 1st response was "sorry dude - I am moving today".. So apparently he is not homeless anymore.. All other responses were 2 words avoidance of the issue. I then asked for a refund. He then actually sent me a message today and asked "remind me - what did you order again?"

Are you freaking kidding me? Using this one as another delay tactic?

What really pisses me off and the mods should take note of is this - this will prevent me from ever again trying to help a fellow member. Who knows what is really going on with him, but currently comes across as a bhw member who has no issues with screwing fellow members.

Honestly, regardless of who is right or wrong here. I hope you learned a lesson here. I have to wonder why in the HECK you are sending money to someone, in the first place, when he SHOULD be paying you. Unless you had a long standing history with this person, and he was a personal friend, there is NO reason to be sending a stranger $500+ to 'help' him out.

from all the shit list threads, we can understand one thing, no one believes anyone here. Everyone is posting the chatting script which was copied, to post later when the person scams.

Anyway from the above all the posts its clear varun sent money to spud because of paypal issues. But spud should return the amount ,as well as varun should complete his work if anything is pending. But here also we can see some complaints against spud that he is not keep up the words of completion the work which assigned to him. All are humans, it happens to all of us. So varun and spud should settle this amicably.

I remember few days back i opened a thread in Jr.VIP to help getting my $7k to my account as by that time paypal were having issues.

Spud Jr. showed his interest and we replied few PM's but for some reason i didn't agree to take his help, i don't know why but now i have started believing my sub conscious mind.

Varun, try to take help from paypal, that' the last thing you can do.

I did all the work friend, he is lying. Footfall's work was pending but now its done.

yeah spud tried to get me to send an upfront payment. something told me it wasnt right and i went with my gut and im happy i did. i feel if I did id still be waiting for my services. i dont know why ops havent intervened. even if there experience with him has been good I see a clear cut and dry case of theft here. and nothing is being done about it... sad.

Carsonrathi i saw that thread. Atleast you saved your money by not dealing with Spud Jr.

At this point, it really seems that Varun has done his best to complete all work required, and it seems that no one is objecting to this.

FURTHERMORE, I do not see how any of you guys are actually agreeing with Spud to hold varun's money! Even if varun had not delivered ANY of the articles, from what I can see, Spud hasn't even paid varun for the work..

I understand people withholding their payment for work until the job is complete, that's one thing. But since when is it acceptable to actually hold a DEPOSIT from the service provider! (what makes this even more ridiculous is Spud was holding Varun's money until Varun completed Footballs work, WTF? Are you the community Bank now or something? Or maybe Judge Judy?

In addition, if that practice was for some reason acceptable, than it looks like Spud should be the one giving deposits for all the work he hasn't completed.


I understand that there are two sides of the story always, and I am only basing my arguments from what I have read in this thread, but right now I think the picture has been painted pretty clear. I think if Spud doesn't clear this up in the very very near future (immediately?), then Mods really need to take action.

All that 550$ was my own, he never sent even near to 150$ to me! All the cash sent to me is after the work. I showed up all my transaction history to footfall and even if we calculate everything which he sent to me, it wont even sum up to 150$. I sent him cash as paypal was having problems. And as you can see from the images, he said his bank was having issues then how that work came in? If i owe him articles then why he said his bank is having problems? Why he was saying that?

I have every intention of following through. We have been moving things slowly, just got power, water and internet yesterday. I have also taken in more work so that I can cover expenses. CK, I never meant to come off as rude but things have been scattered (like everywhere, I have my wife working as well) . If you want a refund, I'll be glad to provide one. In the meantime, I have talked to everyone. I have not been hiding or anything. Also, we weren't trying to delay you, with moving and everything, it's been overwhelming.

Varun has flat out lied several times. I just got my money back. I didn't shit list him, he begged me to continue working for me but after waiting since NOVEMBER. I gave up and tried every way to get my money back.

He has opened a dispute and has flat out lied in hopes to retrieving the money that I had already sent him.

As far as IAMAZEME, You never used my services or anything. You wanted Facebook services that were costing over 1,000 dollars. I cut you a deal, I then came back to you to make an offer that I'd I even came back to you and offered to start the services without any money upfront since you were promising me more work once the tasks were completed at hand. At this point, if this is a band wagon jump on/jump off.. That's cool..

I have never scammed anyone! No one, I just got my money back and started doling it out to him in increments like I should have in the first place but at the time, I was in a better place to be able to pay up front, etc. The money I was dishing at the time, he wanted me to send via Xoom.

As far as Carson, I offered my assistance, I never told you I would take money from you. I gave you suggestions and feedback. I am NOT TRYING TO be a dick or anything. I HAVE WAITED SINCE November To get articles

Why doesn't Spud just show us the paypal transaction of the $400 paid on November 30th if he's telling the truth.

Plus Spud didn't say anything about already paying $400 of the $550 owed earlier in the thread. His problem was about the "work" Varun had not done which has nothing to do with the $550 from what I understand.

I may be wrong about something but I don't think so.

edit: just saw spud's new post. so he is going to provide proof of the paid $400. That should settle who is the liar then.

Varund - as the accuser you seem to being trying far too hard to prove your own innocence/Bruce's guilt. If you really were telling the truth then surely you shouldn't have to keeping posting screenshot after screenshot.

As most of us know Spud has recently had issues with his business partner and doesn't have access to the old account they used (to send Varund payment) - so it's left Spud stuck on the phone to paypal trying to get some sort of proof.

Most people are just jumping in on this thread with their 2 cents when they have no dealings with Bruce. "Having a feeling" about someone doesn't mean you can pipe in on a shitlist thread supporting the OP. Some of you are doing business with Spud at the moment and may have been delayed - noone has complained about communication, just lack of prompt delivery - which does not mean he is a scammer.

The best way for this to get sorted before it gets spiralled would be with a mod I think - bitching back and forward isn't going to solve any "issues".

Oh My God! Spud always changed his statements! Western union never do any transfer, all what he gave is text which can easily be edited! And image which he partially gave saying he sent 138$ to me was the partial refund of my 550$ payment!

Ok this is what I dont understand. I am in not way involved in this but no body has mentioned this or maybe I have it wrong.

On FEB 25 2010 VARUN sent SPUD $550 so that spud would send him the money via western union or xoom. This money has nothing to do with articles what so ever, It was just that VARUN could not withdraw the money from his paypal account so he asked SPUD to do this favor for him.

SPUD says that he sent VARUN $400 on november 30 2009 (the year before) but that he cannot provide proof of this transaction because he does not have access to this paypal account anymore.

But what does the $400 have to do with the $550? I thought that the $400 was giving to VARUN for work while the $550 was giving to SPUD so that he could withdraw it from his pp and send it to VARUN as a favor.

Even if Varun did receive the $400 (the year before) SPUD would still owe VARUN $550. right?
