I've been debating on whether to do this or not, but I think this should be out in the open.

A week or so ago I got approached to run a few offers for XY7.

The type of traffic that was agreed upon was blackhat and the account manager I worked with swore up and down it was ok. In fact, it was the type of traffic he was looking for.

It turns out that he didn't have permission to OK that type of traffic and my account was banned by compliance and they refused to payout.


Think twice about working with these folks, they royally screwed me.

I think they're an unorganized bunch

Account managers should be held responsible for the deals they make with affiliates. The manager in this case didn't do shit about it and it seemed he'd rather it all just go away after I was banned and screwed out of my payout. Who knows how many people have been screwed by them in the same way.

The explanation was that the compliance officer (network owners wife) saw the traffic and banned my account on the spot. (XY7 Elite) The account manager had no business making the deal with my network and took no responsibility. Since this was a mainstream network, I promised my pubs they would be paid regardless if I didn't. I don't normally do that with BH offers. In my TOS I clearly state that I won't, but I know the leads were good and my pubs should be paid.

I haven't been screwed as far as not getting paid but what I do know happens is major shaving.... I always do split tests with different cpa companies for the same kind of offer. I make xxx - xxxx a day/week with credit reports from 3 different companies and seen a decent offer on theirs awhile back. Figured I would run it for about a week and see how it converted. I made a total of maybe $150 the whole week which is normal for one - 2 hours on other networks.....

Do you have any logs of conversations you had with the AM? If so, apporach XY7's president (cna't remeber his name cuz I ahven't worked with them in a while...I think it was Kevin or something like that) and explain that you should be paid what you're owed. Not sure that will get you paid, but at the very least you can throw the AM under the bus for what he did.

I've kind of always seen xy7 as one of the more shady networks but this is really one of the first negative things I've heard about them.

I do have chat conversations and such and may make them available to someone over there. I was going to just eat the loss and stay quiet, but I'm tired of getting screwed and this company should be outed for what they did.

Can you specify the AM? Reason is a friend also made a deal and payment didn't show up yesterday.

I stopped using them because of the same thing. I had AM Terry, use to promise the world until it was payday lol. Bunch of shady guys over there I guess. Thought it was just the guy I had who no longer works there.

I had a similar issue. I threatened and told them after I was done. No one would want to do work with them.

Ok, it's not my AM or I would reply with this one as well but it's not Brandon.

So yeah Brandon, his, Terry all did pretty much the same thing from one company. I would say that def puts them in the shady category.

Also I always tell what I'm doing ahead of time too, if they agree I go for it. I don't try to hide it because there is no need, just find someone that is ok with it.

Basically they tell you what you want to hear to get ur traffic then screw u.

I contacted Kevin with this thread link, he replied "Thanks".

I doubt he will care, but at least people are able to see this and make their own judgment if they really want to deal with this company or not.

I don't roll that way, smear campaigns aren't really my thing. I gave the information to the CEO, if he doesn't do anything I'll simply censor his network on BlackHatWorld so it turns into ***.

to be truthfully honest, this just sounds like a 'blackhat' method for the affiliate networks to reap in the money off the members of blackhatworld, they give you a line, you throw them the traffic, they make the money, they ban you, they keep the money,

the ones that really need to know is the merchant. thats the only way you could get even with the Affiliate networks exploiting the blackhatters.

regardless its a good method from the AM's point of view ( i highly doubt xy7 is the only network doing this). most of the methods on this site is to exploit the merchants while the affiliate networks always get paid. we take the risk (the affiliate) .

I work with several other networks and run all sorts of traffic to them. Never have I had an issue with another network.

In my opinion, this was a straight up scam on behalf of the network/AM and they should be held accountable.

I've talked to several of their Elite pubs and they have all agreed that they will stop traffic to them today in light of this.

Whats funny is this thread will cost them thousands in lost revenue from affiliates stopping campaigns and new affiliates not joining.

There are plenty of avenues I can take to repay them and I appreciate all the suggestions.

Kevin knows of this thread now, so I'll give him some time to reach out and settle this.

If not, then I'll explore other avenues.


I honestly don't think they care. They've been flamed from one end of the internet to the other so what's another forum and a few dozen affiliates to them?

I was pulling in 2.5k per week with xy7. Just now switched to another network

Man this is like a walkout. I almost want to make t-shirts that say BHW Local 127.0.0.1

Edit: 10 guys over 1k a week left so far over this?? Thats more than 500k a year gross revenue!

I was more trying to be funny than anything else, was posting from mobile so it was too much to type-

The reality of it is is Kevin and crew are real dickheads, I've met his lackies at ASW and assorted gatherings and their collective attitude drives me nuts.

As someone who's been in your situation more than a few times, my advice is the best thing you can do is move on and not waste time on the negative. Karma will catch up to XY7.

In the meantime let's make sure everyone knows that sending traffic to XY7 = enriching and emboldening outright scammers.

Following this thread closely - Have a very similar situation on my account there - I have a feeling that this specific offer has been pushed to a number of BH networks via xy7 - and then has been pulled - causing much bigger issues that have not come to light yet

This advertiser is known to keep all BH traffic so I wonder are they not involved?

I actually just got approved by them a few days ago.

Just sent an email saying that due to recent threads in the IM world, I now feel sending my traffic to them is too risky, and I'd like to close my account. =)

I was only at $21, but wonder how many more affiliates they are going to lose before they appologize to Po?

It's official, they don't give a shit about what happened and refuse to payout for the leads. This leaves me with having to pay out of my pocket to my affiliates.

Wow, how much actual annual revenue and potential annual revenue did they lose over this one issue? Maybe 700k actual over $xxx? I'd pay, I'd bitch about it but I would pay just to save face.
