This guy promised me 1st page rankings on google for $100
Right now from what I can see he's not doing any kind of SEO work on my website .He's not been online since 01-01-2010 . He's not replying my PM's or mails.All this means I've been scammed

Don't ever do business with this person !!

yep, he got me too. I contacted him for work on the 29th, paid, got a PM stating he would start on it right away and that is the last I have heard from him. I tried emailing using his website and pm him here several times, no response.

I would think his name should be banned from here, but what do I know

Will give him a little time to respond if not banworthy.

Boy lots of people and their services going off the rails here lately.

People who I thought were mega earners are scamming a bunch of people then bailing out.

No one would, this sounds a bit fishy to me, he and any other good SEO would never promise to get you first page for a meager 100$ his prices are way more expensive.

I think his account may have been compromised because I received an Yahoo messenger message from "him" telling me that he could get me first ranking on a very lucrative keyword. He wanted 100.00 upfront and it would be done within 10 days. I was immediately weary because if that were the case, I would be doing it that way as well. I asked him the tools that he was utilizing and he couldn't give me a straight answer.

So.. with that said, I highly doubt that he would be selling himself for prostitute rates when he is clearly good at what he does. Just be careful.

The person stopped talking to me when I told them that I would be emailing him the list on his PM box and not the email he was giving me.

Well, he contacted me using the PM system here 3x, and that is how I contacted him in the first place. That was how I arranged to have him do the work. After he said to me he would get started, I never heard from him again. I PM him 6-7 days ago, 3 days ago and now again today, no response. Additionally, I went to his website, iintense.com and emailed him there too, no response. I would be willing to share those PM with any admin that wants to see them.

If it was that easy to be one pg 1 of google, we'd all be on it!!!!

yep - totally agree, I just wanted some help with a super hard/competitive term for one of my sites, I am already ranked ok on it considering, but have trouble getting beyond about 40 or so because it takes so much time and effort, so thought a little help, with me working on it too, would get it to page 1.

I remember he answered some SEO questions before. I think he did answer mine once and I saw his sig. I PMed him asking about his service. I asked him specifically what kind of strategies will he be using for my site's SEO.

I asked whether is it on-site or off-site. But he refused to answer me, he just kept saying... "My fee is $100. I will make sure your site will be first in Google search result. 100% guaranteed. If not ,I will refund you 100%."

I remember asking him again and I never got a reply. That's when I became wary of him and never consult his service, fortunately.

Though i was lucky that i said that I will pay the half 1st and remaining later!!

He said to me that he can take my site to 1st on any of my keyword which shd have less then 15 Million competition!! And this sound me a lil convincing atm and due to his DONOR status i thought that i would never be scammed!!!

But ironically nothing have been done till yet and i think filing a dispute on paypal will also not do anything for now!!

He was last seen on 1st Jan 2010 and I dont think he will ever come back!!! huh

I did nt say that in the wrong sense. Every hard earned penny is valuable, we cant leave $100 just like that.

Agreee . those who give this sort of promises, they actually exaggerate about their SEO expertise. in practical world they cant even get your site into second page.

He is probably elitepostings or some shit. Be wary of people coming out of the woodwork and claiming to be experts at shit when they been here a month. Chances are they were previously banned and already know the protocol on how to market to members here. In rare cases their probably from other forums or expanding from jv/freelance sites. More than likely their just here to gain some reputable status and post that signature link, pm me, or start services to only fraud or steal campaigns.

It's not REALISTIC, it's much more profitable to use your SEO skills on your own affiliate/product sites. Why would anyone settle for a one time payment of $100 when he or she could make money for 2+ years EVERY MONTH!

Next time someone offers to get your top rankings, make sure the price they are asking is $3,000+.

when i got scammed i would keep delaying to make a shit list thread because it was only 95 and 2checkout i guess finally shaped up their act with cracking down on their scammer sellers, i'll submit a form even tho i paid in december

Ya, I got my money back too with Paypal, which usually never happens.

when you buy a service like seo you should ask what their methods are and what they'll do to make you rank better if they say no its their secret or what they do seems fishy and useless for you then you can be sure its B.S

What do they say about "if something sounds too good to be true???". Unfortunately that was WAY too good of a deal. IMO if someone isn't charging $500 and talking about a 60 to 90 day window... I'd watch out...

These people prey on our weakness of wanting to make something happen quickly... and it rarely does! Sorry to hear so many people got caught.

I paid him too, but got my money back. I was able to find his personal cell phone number, business phone number, other business website, address, facebook/myspace page, girlfriends facebook/myspace, house of worship. and I contacted him at each. Found the money back in my account the next day.

Hes had accounts here more than 3x.. was banned each time.. had accounts on other sites and also was considered a scammer...

hes a bum.
