While that sounds all good and dandy what good would a ban do? A ban only removes his ability to communicate on the forums... which is exactly what people are hoping he will eventually do.

identity theft ring, but you never really know these days. I would probably
err on the side of caution if you gave him your social and use lifelock or the
likes. I would have to say chances are this guy is just not being responsible,
and blowing off his obligations here. Be careful who you give your info to
guys - and get a fucking ein already!

Not at all, I don't think he will come back. The difference is that right now he has the ability to communicate, he chooses not too. Banning him will only remove his ability to communicate.

By allowing him to stay on the forums it shows that he has made the choice to hide. By banning him you allow him to play the "I wanted to talk to the people on BHW but couldn't" game.

I say don't ban him, let him continue to dig his own grave.
