because i found only 50 in half hour..

I have a proxy list of about 50-60k I can harvest from. That scrape took me about 12 hrs with it multi-thread harvest at 4 instead of the default 2

Will you be posting these lists on a daily basis?

Only if I have time. I only have 1 scrapebox license. If you guys like these proxies I can always do more in the future. But my priority always goes towards extracting AA urls, and high value high PR moderated comment blogs

test in s/box takes about 30-45 mins google check
enabled . did u test these with ip check enabled
or disabled ? if not theres a high probability most
will work on yahoo and few will work on google

I scrape 35k public proxies in 5 minutes.
And 15 minutes to test all and keep only Google Passed.

I never end up with good results with public proxies. I harvest for like a good 2 hours and get like 100-200 good proxies, then I scrape those 100-200 then end up with like 50 good ones, then scrape again and end up with half of that. I use the 25 I got and I don't normally see that many successes (I know failed doesn't mean fail exactly but when I get only 5 out of 200, something isn't right).

When I switched to private proxies, I turned in to a happy camper

I know bro. I am on a slow connection (512kbps) and it takes me more than an hour to check 18k.

Effectively I use a personal tool to make a first very fast test with 15 seconds timeout (testing 35k proxies takes 5 minutes, yes 5).
Then, I test valid proxies against Google with Scrapebox (~ 10 minutes).
It's my process, maybe not the best...
I have a 2 Mbps connection, not really fast.

But a classic proxy tester like ProxyFire or Charon and 500 threads can be very good.
My first very fast test causes errors and some proxies are given dead while they are alive.
And my bandwidth is fully occupied by process...

This is a quick solution, not really quality (...).

Hervesting : 35k proxies (5 min)
Output from first test (20 threads, 15 sec timeout) : 6k proxies (5 min)
Output from ScrapeBox Google test (100 threads, 30 sec timeout) : 400 proxies (13 min)

hell im testing 20k proxies in s/box right now 80 connections
45s time out, test is 80% complete at 42 mins.
he must own a magic scrapebox we dont have

anyways weekends are always bad for me 1k per google test
if im lucky - 1000-1500 per google pass on week days. lets
see how we did for a saturday. 1191 google passed. and
weekends are my worst

As said above, it's exactly what I do.
I made a first very fast test to get a first list of valid proxies (certainly with errors).
Then I test in ScrapeBox and keep Google passed.

You understand it's possible ?

This process is fast and give me enough good results for my uses.
I'm sure if I test 30k proxies with ScrapeBox I will have better success proxies but It will takes 5 months to test this amount.

And then try to test the proxies.

I harvest around 30k public proxies.
I made a first test with a very fast homemade tool.
Then I test the results with ScrapeBox.

If I had to test 30k proxies in ScrapeBox it will takes considerable time (5 months was an exaggeration).

I repeat, this test is very fast and give some errors.
This first test doesn't test proxies against Google, it's just to eliminate bad, dead and dangerous proxies.
Then, the output of the first test will be tested against Google in ScrapeBox (6-7k in 10-15 min).

I'm not yet an expert in "proxy world" and I'm sure that pro like Proxygo have a better process...
Or a time comparable process, but with better results.

I think this thread very interesting, because time is money.
This proves that this is not always the tools who do the work.
