section of the forum mainly. i do report links
posted by un authorized sellers ie people with no
sales thread only trying to grab a few sales b4 there
banned.. yours i could see was an accident thats why
i pmd you politely and only advised u removed it as u
have a sales thread pending and it might effect your
out come.. im not a mod but i am on several proxie sites
and an admin on my own proxie site which i have run

Cooltad,

The list marked as anonymous/high anonymous has both 'anonymous' proxies and 'elite'. You will have to run the entire list through a checker to determine their anonymity. I can't speak for other proxy checkers but I know that Proxy Multiply has the capability to test anonymity (if enabled to do so).

it may goto a demo tool but above it is a pricing

Do not use Scrapebox Proxy Tester for testing your proxies. You get too many timeouts and other "bad" proxies shown up which are in reality WORKING. Use Charon (for HTTP & Socks) or Bleach (HTTP) to test Proxies.

Guys help me out a bit. I run all these proxies in charon and it gives me a list with Anon/country/etc. But even seconds after the test is finished and I use them and check my IP. They are still see through. What am I doing wrong. I am experimenting on IE.

not much use im afraid for anonymous web surfing

Make sure you are using the proxies from the post that says in the post text they are anonymous/high anonymous proxies, not the post starting with 'Transparent'. Try the free online checker located at http://www.checker.freeproxy.ru/checker/index.php

You guys must be beating the crap out of these proxies! Just re tested the anonymous/high anonymous list and most are dead now. I suppose that is normal for a list 19 hours after it is posted, though.

As far as proxygo classifying these proxies as "level 3 transparent" they are tested against www.ip.cc

Iguess it has to do with the VIA factor. All proxies have VIA=yes, thereby divulging the information that a proxy is being used even though they are High anon.

I have never heard of the VIA factor.

I get my anonymous/high anonymous rating using the website www.ip.cc, which checks if your IP is appearing from behind a proxy or not. There are many websites like it, but I chose ip.cc for the speed and reliability. I have had the same results from a proxy marked as 'high anonymous/elite' as I have using other proxy testing websites (e.g. http://www.lagado.com/proxy-test)
