have your settings right, you should get
a few working, load list into scrapebox and
leech the links, then test the proxies, these are
the settings i use for testing proxies.

settings > adjust max connection > proxy harvester 30
settings > adjust timeout settings > proxy harvester time out 45
settings > adjust multi thread harvester > 2 > 4
options > use new proxy harvester > do not check mark it.

I've been picking some proxy lists off these sites and it seems like you really do have to get them early before they go bad. Is this how you create your lists for your subscribers? Do you grab a bunch of them and test them all and then send only the good ones? Does everyone receive the same list or do you split them up?

I have about 100 or so I'm using for building an AA list. It will be interesting to see how many stick and how many good proxies remain.

people get them from my website.
they join - apply for an account
and get access to proxies i test

and foot print lists is only 1 of 3 ways i
get lists 1-foot print - 2 scraping - 3 port scanning

Another program to scrape proxies, instead of using scrapebox, is ProxyGrab 0.6. (google it)

Here's how it works:

1. Save the proxy sites listed by proxygo here to a txt file.
2. File>Import>txt file
3. Hit start. It shouldn't take longer than two minutes or so.

Note: some proxy sites will not result in any proxies or will simply have bad URLs, but you will get like 500 to 6k proxies a list.

and hitting harvest

Having major trouble getting SB to load without the http:// in front. Outside of manually adding http:// in front of all of them, is there a solution I'm missing?

Go to www.linkrr.com, paste them, then it puts http:// in front. Then paste into notepad so the numbers and check boxes disappear. Then copy and paste into ScrapeBox. Here is the list:

after scraping them close s/box and remove them to add
fresh ones. they work fine - with or without www. doesnt

Did/Can you make that file yourself? My config folder does not have that file. I'm on win 7, could be the difference.

all scrapebox installs have the config folder
regardless of windows version. i probably have
to enable show all files and folders

ya I had the folder, but not the file itself. I did a fresh install yesterday, apparently it generates the file once you run manage proxies the first time because it's there now.
