Okay here's the deal.

I have installed switchproxy addon into firefox.
I got a bunch of working proxies from proxy-heaven. How do I know they are working? I used Charon proxy checker to check them, and they are working.
So I uploaded the txt file with the proxies to switchproxy, and when I activated the addon, my connections failed. Also, when I tried to visit a web page with the proxies, I would get this


I do not believe the problem is associated with switchproxy. The addon works.
I do not believe the problem is with the proxies. I checked them with Charon, and the proxies were just released today.
I believe the problem is related to my internet settings or browser settings.
I am running on Comcast Cable internet. My internet connection runs through a router.

I also tried wireless and direct connection, but neither worked.

If you can solve my problem, $5 to you.

Run them through Char again, free proxies go dead QUICK. Also are you sure they are the right kind of proxies?

Char just listed "yes" on all of them.
And yes I'm using the right kind of proxies.

I've never gotten a proxy working on my computer before.
It's probably my router or internet or some shit.

I think proxy you use is dead, i have test your proxy 68.110.214.95:10825 and have test that with socks5 too and the result is same with you

I tested the proxy in your screenshot with the same results. Bad proxies.

I know where I can get paid proxies, but I want to know if there are any reliable websites that give out working, free proxies.

Why don't you purchase some private proxies instead of using free ones?

finding free proxies is not hard, just google it, but it's really time consuming trying to find the one or two ip's that really work.. and they usually don't last that long or is really slow..

by the looks of it you don't really have a lot of patience, and would rather pay to make your problems disappear.. so it may be in your best interest to just pay for one cause l tell yah free proxies can be a pain in the arse
