Default What do you think of proxyfire?

I installed proxy fire on my vps and left it running for around 24 hours searching for proxys.

it found 300k+ which actually came down to 200+ high anonymous proxys

it put that list into scrapebox and tested them and that took it down to 20 or so usable.

Shouldn't it be more successful than that? I'd get more working proxy's using scrapebox's internal harvester.

as a former retired admin of proxyfire heres a tip
ps i was aka jammo my name is still there.
advice - proxyfire sucks at finding proxies
its only 2 redeeming features is testing proxies
u already have and scanning lists or already
made ip blocks, thats what i use it for and it
works fine > if < you have the ip blocks

i always called it a tool never realized its potential
like i said its ok for testing proxies
ok for leeching proxies from ip blocks
but beware - proxyfire sends all your test result
to them, meaning all positive proxie results they
get your lists as well as you. use another proxy tester

Personally I think that ProxyFire is an amazing tool.
I use it to leech, sort, clean, ... proxies lists.

    Beny

PS : These days are horrible to scrape proxies (in my case)... Only 10% from usual.
