What is the absolute FASTEST WAY of checking proxies?

There are hundreds of proxy checking applications out there in the IM.
Charon, Proxyfire, etc etc.

My question to you:

What is the absolute FASTEST Way/Program for checking proxies?
I'm talking about thousands at a time. I can get up to 500 Threads or so in a few programs, but that isn't good enough. CPU / RAM is no issue. I can spawn an instance any size.

I personally use Proxyfire with 800 threads. my pc is not a monster so you could probably push it way further than that.

Use Bleach (free) from Forum Proxy Leecher with 500 threads.
Then, test useful proxies in ScrapeBox.

I'm not looking to check 500 threads. I'm looking to check MUCH MORE than that.
I have the server capabilities, but there seems to be no software that can really take advantage of it. I can spawn 500 instances of windows VPS if I wanted, or one with 60+ Gigs of ram and 12 Cores.

I don't want to test 500, I want to test 10,000.

Does anyone know of any software that could even handle that amount with the right server specs?

bleach is probably the fastest ..just make 20 folders of
bleach and go i run 500 threads

I know I'm plugging my own product here but have you tried Proxy Multiply? I do not have access to a connection that can handle 500 threads personally but the software should be able to run 1000 or 5000 fine as long as the underlying .NET code supports it. There is a free 7 day trial for download from the website and I am eager to hear your results.

Not if the internet connection of the PC checking the proxies can handle the load of the proxy testing.

Probably the fastest way to check proxy is to use a Linux machine. Linux is made for networks.
It'll be useful to indagate if exist a tool to check proxies in linux, see to sourceforge.

Otherwise, if you have a so fast internet connection (...) you should scanning proxies rather than "checking"...

You could have the fastest computer and the fastest connection and checking proxies will still be a slow process because the servers themselves may be slow.

Also, consider for a moment that most if not all proxy checkers have a timeout function. Why would you toss a bunch of proxies that are less than, say, 5 seconds? Those are perfectly good for scraping and posting software and perfect for background bots on linux servers.

I think what you're really looking for is a utopian world where all proxies are created equal, an equality consisting of super high speeds, public, elite anonymous proxies, and it just doesn't exist.
