Working With Proxies In Firefox
Ok need help. have issue surfing using proxies. I already have 20 proxies I have per month from a reseller here. I use it for Scrapebox and such. Have ProxyTool for Firefox but for the life of me cant get it to work right.
I just want to be behind a proxy when doing shit on Firefox. Can someone point to me the BEST free tool to use proxies with Firefox?
Thank you

Re: Working With Proxies In Firefox
Hi,
You don't need a free tool to use proxies in Firefox! You can configure them right in Firefox and browse the web through them.
Open firefox. Open tools menu, click Options. Go to Advanced Options and then click the Network tab. From there, click the 'Settings...' button. Check the box for manual proxy configuration and copy/paste your proxy in there
Might be a bit outdated as I haven't used firefox in forever but the steps should be about the same.
Best regards,
Jrim Software

Re: Working With Proxies In Firefox
Firefox proxies are great. I have 75 different profiles and each one has its own proxy.
I just had to set it up once, and away i go.

Re: Working With Proxies In Firefox
Press Alt -> Tools -> Options -> Advanced (Top, Right) -> Network -> Settings -> Manual Proxy Configuration -> Enter your proxy info.
There are also proxy switcher firefox plug-ins available.

Re: Working With Proxies In Firefox
No need for a tool, Just do the following:
- Open firefox
- Click Tools then choose Options
- Click on advanced
- Click Network then choose Settings
- A new tab opens called 'connection settings'
- Click on 'Manual proxy configuration'
- Enter proxy where it says HTTP Proxy
- Enter port where it says Port
- Tick the box that says 'use this proxy server for all protocols
- Click ok on both open tabs.
Done.

Re: Working With Proxies In Firefox
Proxy Tool FF addon - you can post the issues here on BHW - I and maybe others will help you.

You can use private proxies (HTTPS (username/password or IP authentication) or SOCKS5 (IP authentication only) to work with Proxy Tool FF Addon.
Note: Proxy Tool 1.17 version has been released to Mozilla yesterday. It will be ready for download from Mozilla site in 1-2 weeks.

Yea, using FF profiles is cool. And, you can preserve cookies for each account which makes it more natural than deleting cookies after every session..
