your own elite proxy server?

Ive been doing google searches trying to find out what it takes to create your own proxy server. There are a ton of sites selling books, claiming its super easy, only 10 minutes to create a proxy server, claiming its also very easy to create an elite proxy server. Is it really as easy as they claim? Id hate to purchase a book and find out that its not that easy, or that it requires some expensive equipment.

it wont require any equipments and yes its easy if u are linux savvy and know squid etc

so you suggest buying one of these ebooks? Are there any monthly fees involved? If it matters any, I already have web server space for websites, if that helps at all?

Ive been finding tutorials with even more google searches but they are all just to change my IP to a different IP. I want to be able to create a bunch of IP addresses, and make a proxy list for a program to us the proxies, not to make 1 proxy at a time and go threw and manually change each time myself.

i m not saying u to buy anything dude there are plenty of free tutorials available how to install squid or 3proxy to make own http or socks4/5 proxy server hope it help
