I've recently bought a set of proxies from ProxyBonanza.com - and i've used a couple of proxy testers.

Using the above testers didn't show my info.

This proxy tester however shows my real IP address and my location, which is counter productive of course if i try to post on a US site. And Kijiji didn't work for me, probably because they do a reverse DNS check and disallow certain locations.

I'm sure a lot of you that think they have a solid proxy service find out that the proxy isn't as elite as they thought.

Is this happening due to the proxy i'm using or do i need to take additional steps to prevent leaking my real IP address and DNS info?

Java and Javascript is disabled as well.
Thoughts?

You're just slapping them into the browser and visiting the site, yes?

If anyone can read your real IP using that base technique, the proxy itself is shite. Not all sites will have a decent enough judging system to tell, but I wouldn't risk it for anything worth doing, me.

Yeah, i simply enter the proxy via the manual proxy configuration settings using Firefox.

Only the proxy tester on the .de domain reveals my real info, those other proxy testers reveal nothing and shows the proxy info.

I guess it just comes down to the proxy supplier, if anyone is using the proxy service of SEOProxies.com please post your results if you use the Jondos proxy tester.
