Hey all, I wanted to give my honest review of SquidProxies to save other people from this amazing frustration. I signed up a week or two ago, and it's been problems ever since.

First, my proxies were not automatically assigned to me like they were supposed to be. I had to file 2 support tickets and wait over 24 hours for a human to acknowledge that something was wrong. When I finally got my credentials to the "VIP" area with my proxy information, my list was empty!! Meaning: no proxies were assigned to me even though I just had someone tell me that it was "all good". I was not impressed! A day or so later, and after more tickets were filed by yours truly, I finally get proxies. So I had working proxies for about a week now...

Fast forward to this morning, I wake up to check my SERPs (which I do via proxy) and learned that my proxies are not working. So I attempt to log into my VIP area, *BUZZER* password rejected! WTF? So I log into my customer portal, and it says my service was cancelled. It also says my payment of $18 was completed. So it does not look to be a billing issue... just another error in this circus of a company.

My advice? Stay far far away and pay more for real service. I'm going to be doing everything I can to get my $18 back now. Not because I need the money, but because they haven't earned it!

And another thing... they give you additional proxies for free if you say "good things" about them in a public forum and email them proof. So don't believe all the smiling faces here.

I too had issue's with them, never this bad though, my proxies were burnt out (bans, blocks etc.) before I even used them so I ditched them.

I highly recommend you try BuyProxies. They are only $2 more then squid!

Checkout my review of them here: http://www.scrapeboxproxiesx.com/buy-proxies/

Okay folks, I have been using buyproxies.org for the last week. It took a day to get my order filled but I placed it on a friday at 5PM so i didn't expect much. Got it saturday and was pleased.

The first day I had 6 of my ten stop working but before i could email about it i had 6 more already in my email. Awesome response time!!!

In short, I am totally satisfied. Great service and they seem to know the importance of not keeping their customers waiting. So I would say that they are highly recommended.

BTW, I did a 1.2 Million blast over many sites.....

I specifically said I would use this for scrapebox and buyproxies.org delivered!

Default Re: Buyproxies.org vs. Squid vs. YPP

I was doing my own research over the past couple of weeks when I came across this thread. As far as Squid goes, I quickly found out that because of some of their policies you can't trust a single review left for them unless you explicitly trust that specific member or reviewer to be honest with you. They give incentives for good reviews and therefor cannot be trusted. That should speak volumes about the confidence they have in their actual service: None!

I can'tvouch for YPP as their pricing structure quickly cancelled out any interest I had in them. Now they may be more reliable, but because of BuyProxies . org's customer service this is essentially a non-issue and I'm glad I didn't let that school of thought push me into a purchase from YPP.

So obviously I went with BuyProxies. First off, the prices are great. Go to the page and just make sure you click the small link that displays all plans under the 5 or so main ones they offer you. This gives you a bit more variety in choosing your package. I went with the ten Semi-Dedi's for $10/month. This essentially means you share your proxies with 2 other users on the service from what I read.

I placed my order at around 10:30pm and recieved my proxies via email at about 4:30am. From what I understood from the get go was that this is a small, if not one-man show so I was more than OK with a 6 hour wait time. With that said, and in keeping with honesty, if you need proxies RIGHT NOW you should probably look elsewhere. These may take a few hours.

I went to use these proxies this AM in Traffic Travis as a test and right away two of them were no good. Did that suck? Yup! Was there a silver lining? Oh Yes! I emailed support at 10:47am. Without a question or a holdup I received an email with 2 brand new and completely working proxies at 10:50. Yeah... 3 minutes (that's actually what spurred me to log in and actually leave this review). I can't imagine ever running into a long term problem with non-working proxies using BuyProxie's service.

BuyProxies service definitely gets my vote!

    TL;DR?

BuyProxies is far better in pricing, reliability and customer service.

    -Edit-
I received a PM asking if this post could be used on a Proxy Review site. If you happen to have one, go ahead. Don't worry about PMing me for backlink info, etc as I very rarely login here and a single backlink isn't worth the time to worry about. I do appreciate the thought/offer though. Cheers!

BuyProxies gets my vote too. Initially i tried out Squid Proxies but as my ips are dynamic and always changing, i cannot get Squid to work and i asked for a refund. I tried BuyProxies next and they really take time to resolve my dynamic ips issue and get the proxies to work. Thumbs up for their support!

Hi mate, just go ahead and use the review. I don't have the require amount of posts to reply back. Thanks for the offer!

YPP - Way too expensive, only mediocre performance

Squids - Stay FAR FAR FAR AWAY. EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE, with either failed or ~3000ms response time. Never ever using them again.

BuyProxies - EXTREMELY AWESOME. I opened a support ticket and it got answered in literally 30 seconds. Problem solved in 3 minutes. Their support simply blows me away. The quality is freaking unbelievable too. 100 ms response time with 99% uptime. Absolutely amazing. Really. Worth every penny of my money.

buyproxies have really good support but for me, they are really really unreliable. I loved the support and they were so nice. But, I cannot be having my proxies time out every few hours. It seems that the last two weeks, or since I have been using them, there has been problems (their server or something) . They do get replaced but it is a hassle especially when you are doing a lot of SB blasts each day multiple instances, to have to replace them . YPP was expensive and and shitty support but the proxies were hundred percent reliable. So, i guess with everything in life, there are trade offs

Squid proxies were really subpar quality when I tested them. They were more abused and a couple of them gave some funky errors. The owner of the site was helpful and tried very hard to help us out, but ultimately the quality of the proxies was a deal breaker.
I have not tried buyproxies, but YPP has had pretty good quality proxies when I've used them.

Squid is terrible, I went with their 20 dedicated, and they were EXTREMELY slow. They also sent me an e-mail saying they would give me 10 proxies for free if I wrote a positive review somewhere. Lol?

Thought I would update this a bit since it's been awhile since my initial post.

I still recommend BuyProxies.org fast and cheap and never had a problem with getting recycled (already banned) IP's.

There is a newer company that I would also like to recommend called MyPrivateProxy. The owner of it contacted me about 3 months back and asked me to test the proxies out and give him my thoughts. He said that he was tired of dealing with bad proxy providers and decided to start his own service.

So far I have been really, really impressed with them! Some of the fastest proxies I have ever used!

I have done a complete, in-depth review of the company here:
    http://www.scrapeboxproxiesx.com/myprivateproxy/

Squid used to be good but lately their proxies have become slow with low success rate. I think they have become too successful to care about their customers like they used to. I will seek out a new supplyer after this thread.

No promos available but they are like $20/months for 10 private proxies which is really cheap already.

MyPrivateProxy has a promo though: http://www.scrapeboxproxiesx.com/myprivateproxy/

Both companies are really good, MPP seems to be just a little bit faster in latency tests in scrapebox too.

    Hi Mark,
Your website review state the buyproxies is 10$ for delicate proxies.
But not anymore it is 20$ for Dedicate Proxies now. Not cheap with 50% difference.

Well, from the off start I'm impressed with buyproxies.

I received 10 dedicated IP's within 20mins of ordering... I then was shocked to find that only 8 IP's worked as the IP auth was failing.

I made a ticket and within 15mins I had an answer and the problem was solved... Pretty hefty service.

I bought buyproxies two weeks ago and I would like to say that they are pretty damn fast at customer services. Their proxies are reliable and pretty good ping response. I just hope it stays that way when more and more people are joining their website.

Buyproxies .org is awesome... I have tried two proxy providers and now I'm extremely satisfied the way your proxies are working..

I had the setup ready from last 4 days and all those days are wasted only due to my previous proxy providers. But now I loaded the proxies and hit the submit button. All were up and running. I'm extremely with the service. And also should tell that I have received the proxies in less than 2 minutes after ordering. I might be lucky to get that fast but still the support Marius is giving is superb.

I highly recommend buyproxies to all members of BHW.
