Link seems to be dead? Or maybe it's just me.
Anyway here's a re-up in case it is dead:

Personally, I quite like this checker, it seems nice and easy (although I've seen several that look the same as this, maybe based of the same source code?).
I might unpack it and see if I can change the default IRC server though.
