Just a quick question/confirmation: SOCKS proxies work for any program that utilizes any port, while HTTP proxies only work for port 80? Does that mean that if I was hosting a web server while running on a SOCKS proxy, the web server's IP would change to that of the SOCKS proxy? Wouldn't that cause a conflicting port problem?

I have checked several socks proxys with Charon, got a few good socks and then I imported them to ProxyFirewall but when I check them, they are all bad. However I know that those proxys are working since I was able to use them on Proxifier. Whats going on then?

Hmmm...I'm guessing this software is used to help make using proxies more secure? I have a proxy switcher (free one) that I use already. I'm just wondering.
