I need some tips! How to stay anonymous on the net?

Anyone can give me any advice or point me to any places where i can get myself completely anonymous on the internet.

I know they can find you by using flash, java etc... anyone have any tips and also stuff to keep my pure anonymous of the net?

i'm trying to cover my tracks on the net! i know it can be done just need a few tips or places where best is.

then fire it up and make sure you never connect it to your own net connection EVER.

This guy sounds like an expert I would definately subscribe to his newsletter. To be safe I would wait 6 1/2 months though, or at least up until the 7th full moon passes from the date of purchase, and make sure you place it in the dishwasher after using it each time to wipe any traces. To be extra safe, I would drown your mother and father, bury them in the backyard and pour no less than 12 inches of concrete on top of the gravesite. Also, never masturbate with the blinds up.

How anonymous you need to be depends on what exactly you're doing. Are you trying to stay anonymous to avoid a lawsuit or getting in trouble with a company/copyright infringement/registering domains etc or are you trying to evade interpol/fbi/cia etc?

I've had to remain anonymous to avoid lawsuits from certain companies who love to throw cash at high paid lawyers to harrass people with frivolous intellectual property lawsuits, so if thats the type of anonymity you need I might be able to give you some pointers. If you're looking for the other type of spy level anonymity for illegal stuff then you're gona have a harder time finding what you're looking for..

Also, VPNs offer very little protection, especially if they are based in the country of the party you are trying to remain anonymous from. A simple lawsuit and subpoena and they will most likely cave and turn over all their logs of who connected to them through which IP address at what date and then they take that to your service provider and you're left with your bare ass out in the rain for the world to see.

Nothing illeagel at all. i would just like to stay our of the radar and keep safe online. any help is much appreciated.

what kind of answer did you expect? there's no anonymity on the net, it's a myth mate, there are methods, tools which make it harder to find you, but if somebody would like to find you, he will find you and hunt you down
so the better question why do you want anonymity on the net? you wouldn't like to reveal what kind of sites do you visit or you want to do something illegal, it's a big difference and the second option is a big no no, think about that, maybe it's not worth it...

Proxies are called "anonymous" because you don't need to authenticate, not because they would offer any real anonymity. Most of them will log your IP address and make it available to the authorities in case you violate the law of the country they run in.
