Guidelines for Posting New Proxy BST Threads

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Proxy Buy/Sell/Trade section.

If you'd like to peddle your services here on our lovely forum, there is a specific procedure we'd prefer that you use in order to expedite the process.

1) Post your "real" sales thread in the Proxy Buy/Sell/Trade area (this very subforum!)

Write up your thread in all its glory in the exact manner you'd like it to be when it goes live. It won't show up immediately as it has yet to be verified, but having it up will allow us to quickly verify your sales pitch against the reality of the service and approve it in short order, making the process flow much more smoothly for everyone involved.

2) Send me (apekillape) a PM indicating that you'd like your service reviewed.

Include a link to the sales thread you posted in Step 1 and a sample account prepared in advance from your service, or if there is no account structure simply a list of proxies that you would normally send a client. Your service must be reviewed by a moderator to ensure it meets the quality standards of BHW and makes good on the claims laid out in your sales thread.

3) Wait.

I know you just sent me a PM. It goes to my mailbox, then it gets forwarded to my other mailbox, then it goes to my phone and a special little BHW ring goes off. You couldn't get Batman quicker with the Batsignal.

Within a few days I'll look over your message, test your service, and respond. If you don't hear from me for a week, feel free to send another to make sure you didn't get lost in the shuffle. But don't send 5 messages the first week and think it's going to speed up your application. It just makes me ornery.

4) After being approved, don't be a scumbag.

Now you've been verified, your thread has gone up, and the sales are starting to roll in. Don't think I've forgotten about you now, this is the most important part.

The good folks at BHW are trusting you to operate above-board and treat your clients with proper respect and good business sense. Respond to their issues quickly and rationally, don't get into petty fights or assorted nonsense. Keep your sales talk within your own thread, don't go into other people's threads and talk up your own service. And for goodness' sake don't rip anyone off. I will pull your thread off the forum quicker than a prom dress and you will be banned with great alacrity if you don't act like civilized people.
