Case in point. Here is a list of clicks for a clickbank campaign I started on Monday. I'd show a screenshot but I'm not bragging or trying to prove my uber traffic. Fact is this campaign sucks balls so far and I'm pissed that I wasted my time on it, but live and learn. What impresses the hell out of me is that google obviously didn't charge me for all of some douchebags clicks.

Adwords for this campaign since inception, by the way I've modified these just a tiny bit but the clicks are accurate and that's what's important, just to keep Giggle from being able to track it back to my account (like they give a shit about my $6/mo budget rofl):

Clickbank shows this. Sorry for the formatting. Didn't have time to clean it all up. Each of those GA_some number is a tracking code. I track everything to the keyword level (learn something from that those that are newer than me). This guy found almost every one of my ads and clicked them.

Gogggle slapped HIM for it and he didn't even realize.

So I bitch and moan and complain, but like any good adversary, I have a shitload of respect for geegle. And I actually study what they do because frankly, they have a lot of people with fucking commas in their IQs who just sit around all day thinking new shit up. If I can tag along and figure out just a portion of some of their stuff, or at least how to twist it to my own ends, I win.

Anyway, no real point to this post other than track your shit carefully and about once a month, smile at big G and thank them, cuz I guarantee if you do PPC they've saved YOU a lot of money.

the ease at which google allows me to set up 2000 targeted campaigns in less than a day is amazing, if we're going to praise anything i will be praising google editor, if your doing adwords and your not even slightly familiar with google editor, start using it. Besides being in valuable and being free(i would pay google 200 a month to use it if i had to) it's also the best api out there for interfacing w/ google. Not to mention a few quick simple excel export edits and you use the same campaigns for msn/yahoo.

I've been watching the Commission Blueprint videos recently and they seem like a pretty decent introduction to Adwords - focusing on promoting CB products.

I don't actually have the cash to test the methods until my other projects start paying off, but it looks doable.

There are likewise slaves who never had a problem with their master. There's no denying that some benefit from Google's corporate domination of IM, from search engine rankings to PPC to context ads. The truth is that more people make no money, and maintain no stable online business because of G's constant changes, slaps, virtual sandboxes, weird de-indexing and re-shufflings of its rankings, sudden bannings/deletions of accounts, strange freezings of video counters, etc.

How can there be a goal or organic search results governing G's operations, if it routinely manipulates the results by de-ranking sites it doesn't like? Why do changes tend to disadvantage the small marketer compared to the big players? Not trying to be negative, just explaining why there's a reasonable basis for bashing G gets.

Google isn't perfect, but I have to admit... it's straight forward, honest, and consistent.
I make the largest % of my $$$ off them, month in/month out.
