I agree with the contention that "liability" most likely played a major role in Google's decision. Firstly, most of these sites blatantly claim that water can be used for gas when in fact we all know that water is simply converted to hydrogen in order to improve gas economy.
Secondly, the amateur who attempts to install such modifications to their automobile may render costly damage in addition to potentially voiding the manufacturers warranty.
Thirdly, Brown's Gas, HHO, etc. can be a very volatile substance. While I am not an auto mechanic, I would think that it is entirely plausible that if the engine were to overheat or somehow malfunction while the vehicle is in motion, a spark could cause an explosion to occur.

i don't think the concept is crap.. my grandpa developed a conversion device that eliminated the use of gasoline in his car... i don't remember all the details of it but he was in the military so he didn't have time to perfect it or patent it..
no bullshit, i swear.

Re: Google Is banning Convert Car to Water Products - Read this !!!
So Google doesn't mind if you fuck up your penis with a priapism inducing cock stretcher...but they DO care about you fucking up your middle-eastern, fuel burning, environment polluting vehicle?
2 guys planning something together is technically considered a conspiracy, so why is it so outlandish that someone from "The Big G" (The Gov't) contacted the fags at "The Little G" (Google) and said,"We need to stop this information...understand?"
Remember, The Gov't wanted info last year on Google users and Google thought they could be cute and not comply...then they coughed that shit up pretty quick after realizing that the U.S. is NOT a democracy...it's a candy coated dictatorship - the legislative branch of the oil industry robber barons.
They all meet a few times a year: The Trilateral Commission, The Bilderberg Group, Bohemian Grove, etc...
They own your ass and they'll bend you over at will.

I heard about him; the big oil companies tried to buy him out for some obscene sum of money and when he wouldn't go along they had "Cancer Man" from the X-Files put the hit on him. I looked just like natural causes... R.I.P. Grandpa

Also my point of view.
Basically everything faces liability:
- Kindergartens, where a teacher is found to be a child molester.
- Cars, which kill thousands of people every year.
- Airlines, no need to comment.
- Lasik, a doctor performs malpractice.
- Penis enlargement products.
- Breast implants, just remember Dow Corning.
And the list goes on and on...
If Google were worried about liability, they would not advertise ANY procuct or business. However, their army of lawyers undoubtdely already safeguarded Google against all of them. Viacom, for example.
So, why not advertise a 'simple' Convert Car to Water Products as well?
Answer: Because those 3 - Big G, Little G and Big O's - directly or not, had a serious conversation. And Google, being the little kid among that gang of Really Big bullies, decided to comply and thus protect Google's own interests of a 'few' billions of dollars.
Fear of liability? Not at all!!!

Re: Google Is banning Convert Car to Water Products - Read this !!!
People unfortunately, out of psychological stress, would expect such product as an absolute alternative to gas, or at least would believe it in such a way. Must be user complains when their expectation crumbles...

Re: Google Is banning Convert Car to Water Products - Read this !!!
I also don't buy the 'Google is concerned about liability' figleaf. Always amazed at the hyper contentious folks who say there are no conspiracies for A-Z reasons, who turn right around and accept Big Gov or Big Corp's more implausible line on face value. G is like government in that it is a master at foisting up legitimizing excuses to justify whatever rigging of the system it wants to do. Google itself was initially funded in part by the CIA, how are they supposed to be trusted?
While a hydro car has its risks (the idea of turning one's car into a hydrogen-filled mini-Hindenburg-in-waiting is not appetizing) the theory or technology has been around for decades. Had it been developed and tweaked along the same natural path that gas cars have been improved, a lot of the technical problems would have been solved already. So SOMETHING stopped that natural progress---and the oil complex looks like the best guess as to who. The clincher is that other alternative autofuel technologies have also been impeded, like electric cars, or high-pressure air powered cars (the latter was unveiled in Japan this week). A global scale block on mass development of cheaper energy based vehicles could only be pulled off by a transnational corporate establishment.
