Default DirectCPV/Findology - Not receiving traffic but campaigns are active?

Hi all, just a bit of help needed really as I don't know if i'm doing something wrong but none of my campaigns over at findology or directcpv are getting me any traffic.

I am using keyword & url targeting for campaigns as a test. I made these campaigns nearly 2 weeks ago each over both networks. Since - both campaigns have been activated and say 'Active' by the keywords.

But after refreshing several times throughout the day, none of my keywords or url's have traffic. This is redicoulous. I can't find what I am doing wrong if anything. My keywords are pretty broad too and I would of thought pretty competetive. I even moved my bids so I was the highest bidder to try and get some traffic - but nothing, not even 1 view on a keyword/ url.

Can anyone tell me if i'm doing something wrong by past experience with these networks? I used DirectCPV last year and it wasnt like this at all I was receiving traffic so who knows..

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out with this

DirectCPV hosed their database in the transition of their new interface. Each week they keep telling me that they will have it fixed "by the end of the week." That's been three weeks running. I don't think any of them know what they're doing.

I "summarised" your posts below for understanding and I'd like to get started mostly promoting Clickbank products.

I also noticed that you said you are writing a guide and have 2 students at this point in time, it would be awesome if you could "throw me a bone" so I can get started on this.

Below are the notes I took from your posts...

    Rules According To DMSGROUP
    ===========================

Campaigns sent directly to sales pages have lower ROI

Funnel subscribers into autoresponder for longer term probabilities

Run multiple (100+) products/services through the traffic

Expect to "throw away" the 1st $200 before you get real results

    *****
The key to getting more than one or two products is combined with using anywhere from 20 to 10,000 keywords (long-tail and short-tail), and loading the same URLs (usually anywhere from a thousand to 50,000 or more) into the system.
[not exactly sure what this means]
    *****

Well written sales page is important

Plug in URLs to track analytics to ensure real human visitor traffic [not sure how this is done]

Good keyword scrubber to extract URLs from Google, Yahoo, Bing [don't have this tool]

Could you kindly show me the recommended tool where I can get the same scraper you use and if you would kindly throw me a simple prescription on what I should do?[/QUOTE]

    Reply from DMSGROUP:

    Hi woxinghu,

I've been using a tool that I bought through IPP to do my scrapings. It was well worth the 47 bux I paid for it. Then I plugged in my campaigns through DirectCPV.

DirectCPV has been having some connection problems in the past three weeks, ever since they revamped their interface, so if you want to use another ad provider, you can go that route.

I noticed yesterday that DirectCPV finally got their act together and got their network fixed and they're running ads again. They will only cost you a hundred bucks to get started, whereas the others will cost you anywhere from 200 to 500, depending.

I'll let you know when I get the tutorial done and where to get it.

    Regards,
    Ernest O'Dell - DMSGROUP

JordanUK, I think DirectCPV finally got their act together, although not totally to my satisfaction. They've been having some network problems and managed to get 2 out of 62 campaigns running for me. (I have 300 or so, more to go...)
