my cpa sent me an email promoting an offer that is for email traffic only, and I'm not sure how to only advertise it using PPV, if PPV has nothing to do with email marketing

He doesn't mean to run PPV traffic with that offer. What he means is to collect emails somehow and then email market that offer to them.

So for example, he suggested a credit report offer. You can make a PPV campaign something along the lines of "enter your email to receive a free credit report". They enter their email, and you blast them with an email with that offer in it.

Do the maths work with that kind of approach because you have to pay for the PPV exposure and the conversion's not gonna be that great?
