I'm looking through one of my campaigns and looking at the current bids and some asshat has gone ahead and not only outbid me but outbid me by 20 cents?

Now I'll have to increase bids which inversely cuts on profits . Fuck this person!


Has this happened to anyone else?

Well, if it with a $50+ payout and a 5+% conversion , should you care about the retard?? With ppv this happens so very often.

Another thing, if you thought the networks had a straight algorithm which provided most traffic to the highest bidder that is not the case. Relative positions as well as values play a role in the traffic that a person gets. The good networks balance THERE PROFIT vs. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION or at least try to.

Bottomline : Being the top bidder doesnt necessarily guarantee good ROI in PPV .

Split test and increase your conversions then outbid him.

Well,It also happened to me,you have to check your campaign each hour...
