Re: which is better linksador or mediatraffic ?
Hello,
I have experience with Media Traffic, so I thought I would share. The results have not been great but have been steady. It's 200 bucks a pop to open or refund your account. They get their leads from the Voomba (Vomba?) network which gives out screen savers and the like for agreeing to receive advertising. I think there is better traffic out there, but there is also a lot worse. They raised their price per impression 50%, from $.010 to $.015. Still cheap, but that's a big freakin' jump. They talk tough about what they will allow, but if you are a good customer, they will tend to turn a blind eye (for example, I had audio on a squeeze page - not allowed. They shut down EVERY ONE of my campaigns on me. I went to take down the offending page and found that they had reactivated everything - including the audio! It is running as I am writing this).
MT's customer service tends be slow and impersonal.
A tips if you use MT: Their pop up window is a bit smallish, 750 wide by 550 high. I only use splash pages and squeeze pages that fit. I haven't tested, but I suspect full pages, which look like hell in the small window, do not do well. ROI is much better Using URLs rather than keywords. But using URLs cuts way down on the traffic. So it is a trade off.
I would like to try Traffic Vance, but I am either too poor or too cheap. Probably both.
I never heard of Linksador before reading this thread. I am intriqued that they have full page pop up and will let you in for 50 bucks.
I have started using Direct CPV. Got off too a hot start and leveled off. I haven't been able to figure out why that is. Takes a hundred bucks to get in. They had raised their price from .01 to .015/impression, but when I went to sign up found that they had went back to .01. They have a good interface once you figure it out. They bumped my audio squeeze page, but were very nice about it. I have heard that they get their traffic from adult sites. Does anyone know this to be true? I like to know where my PPV providers get traffic.
Direct CPV's service has been quite fast. They will tell you something will take a couple days, such as site approval, and it ends up taking only a couple hours!
Take Care,
Jim
