Does media traffic use their own browser or something like that? I recall reading something along those lines.

And do they send any identifying information that they are a PPV company, like in the user agent etc?

Just curious, I am not going to be using them to break a TOS at a revenue provider, but more importantly don't want them to know where traffic is from (so they can steal it).

yes they pass the info plus the ads popup in I.E only so the network will see this..to bypass the user-agent info just create a landing page banner and open a new window when the user clicks..

I'm sending mediatraffic "traffic" to a network that doesn't allow ppv. I haven't been caught yet but from what you said it looks like if they go to look up my traffic quality they'll be able to tell its ppv. You mentioned something about being able to mask this but I couldn't figure out what you meant. Can you or anyone else explain how to mask the traffic source as not being from ppv?

when the advertise pops up and the user clicks the link, let the site open in a new window.
than you can be sure that it is the users standard browser.

I tested media traffic and my stats show literally like 50% of the traffic I am charged for. Could it be not getting to my javascript stat code because of a pop up blocker? How could they charge you for traffic you never received? Anyone else have similar problems? I'm looking to expand to other PPV networks. I'm already with traffic vance. Aside from Media Traffic, what's the next best one to use?

I havent faced the issue with either MT or TV. That said i use both quite a bit and I would double check the stats configuration ( there might be an issue there)

As for other networks, i have heard good things for icewatermedia , though have no personal experience there... TV and MT if u can spread ur wings in will deliver quite a bit.. The Key is : "Spread" and "Choose" or vice versa..

Media Traffic is horrible. I don't know anyone pulling profits on there. Stay away.

What are you doing to make it work? I've tried everything I could think of can't get anything. My ctrs are usually less than 1% and I've had 0 conversions after $200 spent. Do only certain types of offers work there? You running CPA?

Darkstar I'm amazed you have great results on MT. Why not expand to Trafficvance then? Much more traffic and converts so well.

Just because one thing works on one network does not mean it will work on another. TV had less than 50% of the MT earnings for me.

So then the question is what the heck works on MT? I don't know anyone making money on there right now.
