Default anyone making $$$$ with directcpv.com??

Hi,

I started campaigning with directCPV last week, and I have spent over $200.oo dollars but hardly any conversions ?? I am using ultra targeted URL's and keywords and updating them almost everyday. I am getting amazing traffic but none of high payout products are converting? the only thing I see converting is email submits n stuff. I want to know if anyone was having any luck with directcpv and could use some help.

P.s (just started this PPV/CPV a month or so ago so pretty green at it)

Voidale obviously does not know what he's talking about here and probably hasn't even researched or even used this network. That, or he's just being sarcastic...I hope it's the latter.

Anyways, DirectCPV is supposedly one of the bigger CPV networks now and according to Gauher, could have the biggest adware-installed userbase right now...therefore allowing you to serve more people. I've been using them lately and conversions aren't bad, you just have to think outside the box and not just straight direct-link...even though this does work.

If it's available, I suggest you guys give PPVF a download. I've been studying it lately and CPV traffic is definitely something that could make you a good deal of money if you use it correctly.

Yes, I am. And their ad sizes (full screen) rock. Not income that I'm going to retire on, but it's good for beer money (and I drink a lot of beer haha). Wayyy easier to make creatives when I have the whole screen.

If the email/zip submit is converting, why don't you
just scale up those offers?

In most ppv network, any offers that requires visitor
pulling out their cc will need a little bit of thinking
outside the box.

Try placing opt-in emails with outrageous headlines
of articles that they will receive to entice sign-up.

This way you can hit them with high payout offers
over and over again. Don't overdo it though.

I got conversion from directcpv instead of big player like mediatraffic... so I am quite sure the traffic they provided is real.

yes, they are real.

but the thing is they don't provide popup or pop under traffics.

they provide interstitial ads.

which is a full ad with "click here to skip this ad" on the top right side.

i'm pretty sure you guys have seen them before.

I use them as well, and i Dont get the ROI as i do with Traffic Vance or what i used to get with Zango (Lead Impact) but their traffic is real but i dont believe they are as targeted as what they say they are. I installed their shit and got a pop up for satellite tv when i went to a Automotive site, So that aint targeted.

I use Media traffic and Linksador as well but Media traffics pop is to small.
Linksador is good but traffic levels are about 40% of what TV and CPV Direct is but very targeted.

Any how lets all fucking ROCK in 2010!

Sounds like TV is the best network for people with deep pockets. Not many people complain about their traffic. Even though MT has small pop ups they still do well for some people. I have heard some people getting good conversions with directcpv.

I have never tried any so im just stating what others have said.

I have their software installed and their ads are not targeted and annoying. Use trafficvance or linksador or mediatraffic instead.

Surely the targeting is down to whom wrote the ad. Like if you visit amazon and a dating ad pops up that is because someone setup that ad and paid for that to show when people visit amazon... Nothing to do with the network per-say. Unless im missing something.

If someone is targeting amazon.com with a dating popup they are just wasting money. I think directcpv is just showing ads at random. No way you can convert dating site over amazon.com and make good money. Just now I was on a car parts site and the ad i got from directcpv was make money with google. Either advertisers on directcpv are stupid or directcpv is ripping advertisers off.

I wouldn't recommend DirectCPV. It takes forever to get your URLs approved. My new campaign has been pending for 2-3 days, and when I click on "pending" no URL shows up eventhough I've submitted it twice. My contact person (Preye Spiff) is never online on Skype anymore, and even when he used to be online before, he seemed very uninterested to answer any questions.

I guess I'm not pushing enough traffic for them to give a fu*k about me. Oh well..

Hey folks,

Let me explain to you why it is that you're seeing untargeted pops of advertisements from DirectCPV.

We have two modes of PPV deliverables: regular PPV and R.O.N (run off network). R.O.N is the most likely reason for the "random" nature of the impressions. It is untargeted traffic, and hence the cheapest, starting at the minimum bid of $0.04. (Actually I lie; you can target by countries only).

Some advertiser would go that route, especially for email submits and incentive offers, due to the more inexpensive price.

@Joker

For any assistance, please open a ticket at support@directcpv.com and the other account managers will gladly respond to your requests.

@dada786

Open a ticket as well and I can take a look at your campaign and give you advice on your targetings.

Regarding the hits on 11111111111.com, I highly doubt this is true (or at least I have not seen this happening before.) The system requires the url to exist before it actually generates the impression. If it has nothing to link the advertisement to... well.. then it won't pop. (The only way that I can perhaps link the possibility is that the user targets an error page, or a 401 forbidden link. I don't really see the point of that though).

However, if you can prove me wrong, then it's a glitch in the system, and I will hurry to the tech department in a jiffy.

Cheers.

I don't usually get this riled up but I'm a little LIT to say the least. I even created a new blogger account just because this upset me so much.

No, I'm not an affiliate and Heck no, I'm not going to Promote this AutoMassTraffic or DirectCPV scam because as far as I'm concerned, these guys are taking advantage of honest ebusiness people.

They get you all excited about this "mass advertising" that's you know just has to be overblown when you first see the ad.

I decided to buy it just to see if I was right about my hunch. Three weeks after posting my ads on DirectCPV, they are still "pending" which is a complete joke.

This is ONE BIG Con people ... don't waste your money.

I wrote an article about it just this morning because it really upset me. I'm fine, I'm going to make my income every day but what gets to me is the average guy.

I wrote an article on this very thing just this morning which I'm sure you can find if you search.

Needless to say, I'm none to pleased.

So far, I am disappointed in DirectCPV in terms of traffic. Automasstraffic gives you good information, but automasstraffic and directcpv (or related) seem to be connected, so what's the use of having information on urls if you can't really use the info to your advantage?

I'll give it another week or so, but it seems like PPC, even though more expensive, might still be the better route

yeah that course was junk. If you have even the basic understanding of CPV then you know more than that course teaches. I got a refund.

I never had much luck with dcpv either. Tried them on a few campaigns a few months ago and got zero conversions.

I hated directcpv. Took days to get a url approved, then it took over a week to get the next one approved, customer support took a week or two to respond. I didnt really get much traffic even bidding the highest. I got my money returned to me that I had on the directcpv account. That was hell trying to get that back too.

Be Very Care-full using this company. they are not going to make your money, and will not be in business long.. They dont have a live person to call into, they do not provide assistance, and take days if not longer to get a campaign running. I have used hundreds of companies, and this is not one I would suggest to anyone...

If you have money in your account with them, get a refund fast..

As was mentioned in an earlier post, DirectCPV is a great tool when used "outside the box". Any marketing/advertising campaign that is dependent on "one-click" sales are always going to return lower ROI: that's just the nature of the beast.

However, if you "funnel" subscribers into your autoresponders through a lead capture or "squeeze" page, you will have them for longer term.

I run URL, Category, Keyword and RON (Run of Network) campaigns on DirectCPV, and get tons of traffic. But the "key" to getting a lot of traffic is not through marketing one or two products, but rather a large number, say a hundred or more, products/services through their system.

I'm compiling some metrics and split tests on over 120 differnet campaigns right now, and averaging anywhere from $20K to $50K per month, depending on the payout of the commission product. Usually the higher priced commission products that pay out in the $750 to $1,200 range also have a higher price tag, hence a lower market demand. Most products priced at retail from $40, 50 or $100 dollars, and that pay out a 50% to 75% commission will sell a higher volume, therefore producing a better return on your investments.

Spending one or two hundred dollars on an "initial" interstitial ad or two is going to be a waste of your money. The key to getting more than one or two products is combined with using anywhere from 20 to 10,000 keywords (long-tail and short-tail), and loading the same URLs (usually anywhere from a thousand to 50,000 or more) into the system.

If you don't want to mess with going through their support system to submit more than 10K url's, then you can do incremental loads of 10K at a time until you get them all appended in.

Again, as was said above, you've got to "think outside the box" and combine your efforts with an exceptionally well written sales page.

Admittedly, most affiliate programs have sales copy that sucks and it's a shot in the dark if you make any sales off of them. However, if you want to funnel your subscribers into your autoresponders over the long haul, then "squeeze" them into your funnel with a viable freebie, such as a free report in the category in which you're advertising or marketing.

I've written extensive courses and books on the methodology and strategies of CPV, PPV, etc., but there's really nothing black hat about it.

Also, plug in a few URL's that you can use to track the analytics to make sure you're not getting "fake traffic" as was mentioned before. I'm getting totally true and legitimate traffic every day, 24/7, because I'm testing, tracking from verifiable sources.

That's another thing I teach: don't do ANYTHING blindly!

DirectCPV has a good reputation and is a leader in their field. There are a lot of others who operate differently, but for the money, it's great and it's cost effective.

Regards,
EO

P.S. I might also add that you need a good keyword "scrubber" to extract the URLs from the Big Three search engines: Google, Bing and Yahoo. I spent $47 dollars on a simplistic little tool that works wonders. It "scrubs" and extracts several thousand, to several hundred thousand URLs that pertain to the category of your keyword search terms.

So, yes, there's tools available to do this, but most people are not going to put out the effort to go through the "learning curve" because it takes more than "one or two clicks" to do this right.

Well, andytopspin, it's really not that complicated using 100+ landing pages when I'm using the same template -- AND the same autoresponder code -- in each one. The only variable I change is the one that corresponds to the product number I'm promoting.

For example: if I'm promoting a URL for {product_variable_01}, it goes to the product_variable_01 autoresponder. I use the same naming convention from product_variable_01 to product_variable_100 so that my management software keeps them in alphanumerical order.

How do I keep track of the products, descriptions and commissions? Well, I'm an old number cruncher from a long way back, and I've been doing this for about 15 years, so I keep using spreadsheets because they give me the most flexibility. Once I download my stats in .csv format, I can then "massage" them the way I want to look at them to give me an idea what to do next.

Split tests? Yes, and then that -- of course -- has its own set of variables: content, graphics, ad copy, type size/color, layout, etc.

It takes me on average about an hour on each page, so this is not something that I did overnight: there are no "silver bullets" in this business when one wants to "kill the vampire." ;-)

Once I had all my campaign pages ready, and all the codes plugged in to the landing pages, the rest of it was fairly simple.

Getting traffic to your "funnel" still requires a bit of old fashioned article and blog posting, and relationship building on social networks.

I used to use some older systems and technologies "scrubbing" search engines for URLs and keywords, but since everything is pretty much "organic" I don't have to do this by hand any more. I started using DirectCPV with the $100 deposit through PayPal, because like a lot of people, I am NOT going to give my personal information to anyone: so, PayPal was much safer and afforded me a "wall" of security between me and "them" -- whoever is running DCPV.

Once my traffic started picking up and sales started picking up, then I re-invested more "deposits" into my DCPV funds and presently, I'm spending anywhere from $2,500 to $4,000 a month, but making anywhere from $30K to $50K on some of the wider niches I promote.

The "narrow" market doesn't produce as much ROI because they're higher priced ticket items, and frankly, not too many people want to fork out a lot of bucks on something until they "get their feet wet."

Once the campaigns are loaded and populated with the landing page URLs, and the URL campaign is populated, funded and activated, it's all pretty much "hands off" from there. But, getting to that point requires more than just a few clicks to do so. And... it helps to have a plan: if you can sit down with a plain old piece of paper and draw out a graphic "mind-map" or promotional plan, it will help you formulate your ideas until they congeal like concrete.

In short, my latest campaign of 105+ campaigns took me the better part of 3 weeks to compile and test. So, I can understand why you say "wow." ;-) It's a bit of a "learning curve" and I'll eventually write a tutorial on it. Right now, I'm working with 2 students on a "one-on-one" basis, but it's not like I have to hold their hands all the time. Once they "get it" they can pretty much run on their own.

The time you spend in front of your computer is never a waste of time: it's all part of the learning process.

Regards,
EO

Personally, I've never had any problems with DirectCPV. Once I had all my URLs populated and my campaigns funded, I pulled the trigger on over 100 campaigns, and they were activated in under 24 hours.

The key to this is not to run just one URL to one landing page, but run several: if possible, 50 to 100. The more exposure you give yourself, the better ROI.

One of the reasons a lot of beginners don't make any money using these systems is because they try to promote just one URL for a product that doesn't have market demand. But, if you can promote 50 to 100 different products and landing pages, you'll have a wider variety for choices.

You can always try to run a keyword or category campaign, or even a generalized RON (Run of Network) campaign for .004 cents per impression.

The "trick" to getting people into your funnel is to run your own "squeeze page" and OWN THE LIST. If you don't, you're just throwing your money away.

Cheers,
EO

if you are seeing conversions from email submits and such maybe you should focus on that aspect and not hire converting offers. As email and zip submits are alot more appealing to certain types of traffic
