Unhappy Choosing an Offer...Landing Page Frustrations

Hi all,

I'm new to CPV and am trying to absorb as much knowledge as I can before starting my first campaign. I think I have a good grasp of everything now, have accounts with a bunch of CPA and Adware networks, understand how tracking works, etc.

Except the one thing that I'm struggling with is choosing an offer. It seems like most Adware networks have a maximum width for the pop-up window (eg. MediaTraffic = 750px). Unfortunately the vast majority of CPA offers are way bigger than that (like 1000px), so they look ridiculous in the pop-up windows and there's no way anybody would ever fill out the forms.

I suppose I could spend the time to create my own landing pages for each offer, but:
  • It seems like a waste of time to create a landing page before I know if the offer will convert well or not
  • It adds another click that the customer must do to get to the page that actually pays out for the offer
  • It's doubtful that I can create a landing page that's as attractive as the offer's own landing page
So how do you guys get around this 750px restriction? What's the secret? Or is everyone really creating custom landing pages for every offer prior to knowing if it converts well?

Thanks!

Truth is: you have to create a custom landing pageto fit the 750px or as you said you'll miss almost all clicks...

That's the problem of PPV

It's just a fact,

if you redirect directly to your affiliate LP, It won't fit the window size...so no conversion, try it
