I say just give it a go. From what I have seen on here people have had mix results with it. There doesn't seem to be a clear concise answer. What would be cool if you started an official review of it. Seems a lot of people would be interested in seeing the results

Re: POF, have anyone tried ?
i have some ads up there. One is doing ok. It's a lot like facebook, so just plan on split testing a lot of pics to try and up your CTR. Advantage is that they are less stringent than FB.
If you can target outside the US, you'll get cheaper CPM. They don't offer CPC format.

Re: POF, have anyone tried ?
I was doing $500/day about 4 months ago with a couple weightloss products, took about a week to target, but was great for about a month then it became too saturated and too expensive (too much competition) then I moved on.

Re: POF, have anyone tried ?
Plenty of fish.
My biggest obstacle right now is CTR. Which varies too much. I can get really good CTR on facebook really easily. Not here though. That being said I'll be spending next 5 hours doing my ads.

I haven't heard of Plenty of Fish, but I think Adbrite is the best.

Re: POF, have anyone tried ?
Are you kidding? It's THE best and cheapest traffic source for dating/gaming/weight loss supplements. I've made tons of money there, and I have friends making way over $100k/month just from PoF. Go for it.
But..of course, if you don't do your targeting/ad copy right, you'll end up losing money, like everywhere else...

Basically it's a free dating website that supports self serve ads much like Facebook. And yes, once you get an ad rocking on there, it's a great source for money.
Definitely worth trying it. It takes a little bit of testing and optimizing to get a good ad going. A million people have written guides on how to use it effectively, I suggest you try it out!

no, million people didn't do it. (or even 10). it's definitely one of less known platforms but competitive nevertheless.

I use PoF's 'Interests by Demographic' feature a lot.
