I think he means for false advertising. When you say "up to 49% off" people ignore the "up to" and assume they get 49% off so I think he wants to know if he will get in trouble for "misleading" people because of their own stupidity and selective information retention.

I don't get the point...Instead, from 49% off will change it to 49% in all selected items...But Amazon don't care about the ads info the thing is you don't spam the site the main problem is the readers and the potential buyers...If I were the buyer I am confused about the ads info.
