I have been publishing on the Kindle for a few years and made pretty good money. What I published exclusively has been crappy plr. There was a kindle slap on plr in late July which eliminated 90% of my books. At that time I was surprised they kept me and just didn't terminate my account.

I still have 50 books up for sale which takes in a few hundred bucks a month.

My account is still active but I know that I really pissed them off. Now I want to go legit and will publish small unique high quality books.

I am thinking about starting fresh with a new Kindle publishing account that doesn't have the history of putting out garbage. In the past I got a second google adsense account because I used a business name, EIN, different address and different bank account than the first account. But not sure if KDP allows you to do it this way.

Does anyone have experience getting a second KDP account? And if so what is the exact procedure for doing this?

Here is an update: my Kindle KDP publishing account was banned a month ago.

I published a lot of bad plr over the last few years. When they slapped plr in July they removed most of my titles but some remained and I stubbornly kept them up. Then fast forward a few months, I saw the light and unpublished all the junk and started publishing unique books. But all the bad crap caught up to me and my account was killed off.

If you watched the James Jones Kindle Triangulation OTO he mentions having a few Kindle publishing accounts. But he has given conflicting information on how to do it right.

I also have heard different stories, where some people say it's as easy getting a new adsense account, while others say it is much more difficult and Amazon tracks much more intensely.

Does anyone have experience in successfully getting a second Kindle account?

Just open a new account with a business name as James Jones said in his book.
I would do it from different ip address.
Now you don't have account, what you got to loose?

what if you can't get a different ip? can you still work around that somehow?

James Jones recently got his account closed, maybe you received that email.. the reason: multiple accounts... was he able to get his account back? I know for a fact that he was not able to do even though he tried very hard.

The best thing to do is partner with someone you trust or open a LLC register it a company get a business taxes id (if you are in the states) and create a new account with that info. Do not use any of the info that you used on your previous account. You will also need a new bank account for money transfers as well as a new physical address.

Now that you know how to play the KDP game and make money on it, it is certainly worth it to make an extra effort and get back up publishing.. so don't give up!
